I bought this for my husband when he came out of hospital having broken his pelvis in multiple places - it was easy to assemble although the pipes are quite stiff to get on , but they stay on - it’s a very large single size, nice and long and tucks in at foot if the bed - I didn’t want to get a hospital bed as he’s tall - it’s been going 24 hours a day for several weeks - the little engine is very quiet and sits under the bed - the switch has a noticeable green light so you can see if it’s on or off from a distance - I really recommend this - forget the more expensive ones ! I don’t know about long term but it’s certainly ideal for post surgery - thank you

Bought for an older relative after they had suffered a broken hip and were having to spend more time in bed. Box on ours came in a pretty poor state, but mattress and pump inside appeared unused. We tried it out at home before taking it abroad to our relative. The mattress is suprisingly long (it covered the length of our 200cm bed easily). Using it the first time you just need to make sure that you manually straighten out any kinks or it won't fill. Once that's done, it fills and works well. A word of warning - it's nigh on impossible to get all the air out if you want to pack it up again. Pump reasonably quiet. Our relative found it did give relief and they were definitely more comfortable. They were starting to get some sore areas and this seemed to halt that. Coincidentally, we also shopped for a seat cushion around the same time and ended up (not through planning) with one from Vive also. That was also excellent and helped our relative a lot.

Absolutely amazing. I was originally put off having one of these mattresses due to the price and thickness but this one is very reasonable in price and not too thick. First night and wow! It was the longest sleep I have had for a long time due to pain. It is like heaven. I definitely recommend this. The pump is very quiet, I heard a very slight hum the first 20 mins which I don't notice at all. Ignore the bad reviews that claim it is not for the UK being only 120volts, it is definitely 240 volts and has a UK 3 pin plug. Regarding the mattress warranty of 6 month, I would question this under the CRA2015. It should legally be 12 months.

I battle with chronic pain and fatigue and can often find myself in bed for days at a time or just be in a lot of pain when lying down. I was researching toppers for pain relief. I already have a good Sealy mattress with memory foam topper, but felt I needed something extra as battling to sleep. This topper arrived and firstly it is too long for a standard double bed. The topper tucks in under thick mattress and existing topper, runs from headboard and at the feet-end the bubbles folds over and around mattress….too long. The firm setting might as well say “sleeping on spare wheel” - too firm. Then in baby step increments, one can lower the firmness to the ‘morning after a night on a camping bed’ Like someone else said - good idea - badly executed

Very long, used on a 200 cm length bed and it still had pockets over the edge. Alternated air well, the pockets are quite large and it’s easy to ‘fall’ into the seam between them. If not laying favourably the pockets can also seem to dig into any aching muscles. The highest setting the pockets are very firm. however this is a very good entry level item to see if an alternating air pressure mattress is the right way to go. I would however suggest a tubular type of you can afford it rather than an egg box style one.

This mattress works well. Very basic compared to hospital type mattress. My Mum had no complaints about it.

Bought this for family member whilst recovering from a broken hip - found to be comfortable -a little noisy by helped with the recovery.

So far so good... 3 months in and still working fine. 🤞 We Bought this for my elderly very poorly mum, who is prone to bum sores. We did have a NHS air mattress. But the head district Nurse had it removed because I smoke. Wtf. Ive never smoked inside my own house, never mind my mums house. Always outside, always. So we looked about and found this. And its been brilliant so far. For the price this is a Excellent product. And it's not often I can say that about products offa amazon.

My mom has been using this for over a year and it has worked perfectly. It really helped with comfort and support. The material is good quality and durable. It even comes with its own repair patches, which is very useful in case it gets punctured. Overall, it’s a great product and definitely worth it.

The mattress arrived very quickly, but I could not use it as it was wired for American 120 volt instead of 240 volt Australian- my fault for not checking first. Returning it was managed fairly.

I have only had this product for a week, but so far, the mattress is exactly as described and I am very pleased. I purchased this mattress for my 94 year old mother with dementia who spends 15 hours a day in bed. The mattress fits her twin bed perfectly when inflated. We experimented with the different firmness settings and she is most comfortable at the softest setting. The pump is very quiet, with only a slight hissing noise every 6 minutes when the pressure adjusts. I can already see a difference in the pressure points on mothers back. She had a bedsore developing and I am optimistic that this will heal given the use of this mattress, time and the medical honey cream we are using. We turn the pump on when we put mother into bed and turn it off when we get her out of bed for the day. The pump easily turns off and on and is conveniently hanging on the bed rail on the side of her bed. I am very thankful for this product and would recommend it to anyone else caring for a person who is mostly bedbound.
