This stuff is my HOLY GRAIL. I first got it from Ulta and am now repurchasing it after using the whole thing. My scalp gets really dry and flaky and even using things like head and shoulders wasn't 100% effective. Even if the flakiness went away I still felt like my scalp was covered in a layer of dead skin that just wouldn't go away. This scrub is MAGICAL. After using it my scalp feels completely different, clean in a way I've never felt before. After using it in the shower I can immediately feel the difference when the water hits my skin-- it's like it can finally breathe!! I use the scrub very generously and have never had any issues with irritation or anything else. I even use one of those scalp scrubbing brushes with it when flaking is particularly bad and still no irritation, redness, etc. It smells so good (to me atleast, some people might not love it) and the consistency is easy to work into your scalp. It washes out really easily too, same as any regular shampoo or conditioner honestly. Definitely a game changer for me and I'd recommend it to absolutely anyone in a heartbeat :) (I also bought the scalp specific shampoo and conditioner from this brand and love it as well, plus a scalp oil that is surprisingly effective for random dry spots that pop up in between showers!)

I get dandruff pretty badly, and this scalp scrub is a total life changer! My scalp feels and looks healthier, it smells amazing, and it’s definitely worth the money. I use it before shampoo and conditioner (making sure they don’t touch my scalp). I’d also recommend using a scalp scrub comb with it for the best results!

Maybe i just have too much hair, but this isn’t a deep exfoliation. I have sebhorreic dermatitis and was told exfoliation can help ease the severity of it. This smells nice and washes out easily. It doesn’t flare up my scalp or anything. It just doesn’t really get in there and SCRUB like i wish it did. If you don’t need that deep scrub this is perfect for you! It’s still a great product, just not great if you have lots of hair.

This stuff saved my scalp. It's not too harsh at all. It makes my scalp feel incredible. The smell is divine! I want a body wash that smells like this and a perfume! The scent is intoxicating. The product looks and feels super high end. It's a little pricey. But, worth every single penny. I've used it 8 times now and still have some left.

Researched scalp scrubs, decided to order this based on reasonable price and reviews. Followed directions, but about 3 hands full of my hair fell out afterwards. May not be for you if your hair is gray and/or already thinning.

The smell is too intense- can be nauseating. It also is wayyyy too thick, and it's hard to get it onto my scalp and scrub it properly. Needs to be a bit thinner and easier to spread and scrub with. Lastly, the crystals don't really do much. For the price point, it's meh. Does give a bit of a fresh feel after using it, and the design of the bottle, both the way the bottle looks and the aesthetic is nice. I like the little nozzle. But there are many better ones out there around the same price. Probably won't buy again.

My daughter had terrible dry skin and dandruff! It was so difficult to get rid of it and she was really embarrassed at school. We have only used it once and it is a huge difference! So glad we found this Kristin Ess product! I already use the shampoo/conditioner and volume products but now I’ll have my daughter use it too.
