Excellent book, beautiful shawls.
This book is an excellent choice for an experienced or inexperienced shawl knitter. The patterns are given with gauge/type (sport, fingering, etc.) of yarn and charts ( as well as written instructions, for those of us who have problems decifering charts). The 12 shawls come in styles varying from solid (nice and comfy warm) to Lacey (light and elegant). This book will be a solid staple in my knitting library and is an excellent choice for a novice shawl knitter.

Beautiful Shawls
Great book of shawls. It has many different patterns and they seem like they would be warm as well as beautiful. Not too lacy, just for looks kind of patterns. I will definitely make several.

Another amazing book from Jen Lucas. Not only does she provide a dozen beautiful patterns, but actually gives you the instructions to design your own. The patterns are written as well as charted. Fantastic. I'm designing my own as I write, using six colorways of KPPM - I feel like a rockstar!
