The recommended bead size is 3/8". At 16" on center you should expect the adhesive to cover approximately 13 panels.

Would you recommend to use for hardwood or engineered hardwood flooring?

This is AdvanTech sub floor adhesive. It is used on the subfloor only, and the joints of the subfloor. This is not to glue down hardwood flooring, as that needs to expand and contract. I hope this answers your question, as it is not real clear to me exactly your question and how you plan to use it. If you are using sub floor over an existing floor, it will stick to it for sure, but if the finish of the old floor is not adhering well then the advanTech will come loose as a result. Also note a normal construction will not adhere to advanTech.

Can i use it on regular cdx t&g subfloor or is it only meant for advantech subfloor?

Absolutely. This polyurethane based adhesive works great on types of subflooring applications

What's better?

I have used a lot of different adhesives, this is the only one I will use from now on. There is nothing better that I have found. It goes the distance, adheres in practically any weather, and secures very strongly. Highly recommend.

Good Adhesive But Poor Coverage for Price

This product advertises that it will cover 8x what a a typical adhesive cartridge covers. However, my experience is that it covers only about 3 cartridges. It is easy to use, but for the price, it may not be worth it for most people.
