You'll Definitley Be The Biggest Loser If You Buy This Product!!!
On the bottom of this scale, down below the battery compartment cover that clearly does not fit and wouldn't stay on the product, let alone stay closed, it says something to the effect of "Made To Our Exact Specifications In China." That should tip you off about this product to begin with (pun intended).First, it is white, and not black, as shown in the Amazon listing picture. So, if you order it in red, expect green...or if your order in blue, expect yellow. I dunno...maybe I'm jimping ahead and predicting the pattern. Let me know what color you get if you decide to buy this scale and we'll see if we can work out what color you would need order to end up with the color you want.Second, and most important o fits faults...it doesn't work! It states clearly in the Amazon listing and on th eproduct box that this sclae weighs up to 440 lbs, but that is a lie. It will weigh up to a certain amount (different on each attempt) but will not weigh past about 380 lbs (again, the max weight capacity varied, but never weighed past 383 lbs.), which is about 60 lbs less than the product listing on Amazon and the side of the box states. I determined this after doing some testing with varying weights added to a person weighing 310 lbs. The other couple of functions seemed to work ok, but, who knows if they were actually working accurately considering that the scale doesn't even perform it's most basic function of weighing people.I did a lot of research before buying this scale. The low price finally sold me on it. I figured that, if what many others said about Taylor scales in general were true...that Taylor scales tend to stop working after three to eighteen months...I could buy three or four of these for the price of a similar higher end brand. I've already ordered a higher end brand, and I recommend that you do, too. Now, say it with me to help me remember: "you get what you pay for, you get what you pay for, you get what you pay for..."I don't watch the Biggest Loser show. I couldn't care less about the Biggest Loser endorsement. I'm sure fans of the show will be dissapointed by this product. I'm not sure what to think of any product that actually advertizes that it is made in China to "our specifications." I made sure not to allow any children to chew on it or lick it before returning it. I won't buy another Taylor product.I gave it one star...because it is, as a matter of fact, a bathroom scale, as advertised. I guess it has that going for it.Caveat Emptor.

Find an alterntive mfg of scales
Just had to add my 2 cents to the long list of dissatisfaction. The scale worked for me only when I stepped on it then got off and stepped back again. Sometimes I had to repeat this until I got a reading. Now it just stopped altogether. The set feature which I really never was interested in works but no weight display at all. I tried to find a manual online but Taylor said there was no booklet available. (There I noticed is that it listed 2 AAA batteries but it uses 2 2032 watch style batteries.)I will never buy any Taylor product.

Horrible product! It's hit and miss on working
Horrible product! It's hit and miss on working. Sometimes it shows weight, most times it doesn't. No worth the money.

If you buy this scale, you will be the biggest loser
After first year of owning this scale, it started to behave inconsistently such as wrong weight reading, wouldn't turn on, or report weight in metric when setting was on pounds. I had to shake it or tap it hard to get it to work - if lucky. After a year and half it is dead. Good riddance.

Inaccurate, Never weighs the same
I'm usually not suckered into marketing ploys but this one actually got me like a fish on a line. The Big Loser endorsement seemed solid and the price was in my range so I caved and bought it from Target.I've had this scale for about a year now and here's what I've noticed:1. It never gives the same weight twice. Literally. I can step on the scale now and be one weight and 5 minutes later the scale will add or subtract 5-10 pounds.2. My husband is around 400#s but the scale doesn't work when he stand on it. The zeroes keep scrolling through until it shuts off. He's only been able to get a weight one time in the whole year we've had it.3. Because I can never get an accurate reading, I have NO IDEA how much I weigh. I'm anywhere between 10-20 pounds lighter or heavier than the scale is telling me. That makes dieting very difficult. The good news is that since I know this scale is so inaccurate, I won't dare get off my diet again due to what the scale tells me. I've actually quit a highly recommended diet simply because I hated seeing that I gained 5 pounds over two days on the diet when in fact, I probably LOST that much but there's no way for me to know.Stay far far away from this scale no matter how cheap it sells. As a matter of fact, if someone tries to give it to you free, say NO. It's not worth the headache.UPDATE: The scale finally died. We've had it for 2 years which is sad because most scales last many years. As a matter of fact, my parents had a bathroom scale for at least a decade before it stopped working. This is the worst scale I've ever seen in my life.

Beware, it could take you 20 min to get weighed!
I bought this scale a few years ago because I liked how high the scale went up since I weight over 330lbs most scales would not work. If I had it to do over again I would have never bought this product. Just like other reviewers, I cannot get an accurate reading. Just this past week I weighed myself over 40 times (I counted) before I got a weight. I just recently replaced this pile of junk with Ozeri Rev Digital Bathroom Scale with Electro-Mechanical Weight Dial, and within 5 seconds, every time, without fail a good reading. I even weighted myself several times and never off the other readings. It is even cheaper. Now the calorie counter is full of crap like any dietian will tell you, metablism determines calorie count that you can consume. It said that I could eat 3500 calories in a day and stay the same weight when I never gone above 2500. It is nice to be able to save 4 peoples weights, and that is only why I would have given it a 1 star, even if 0 was an option.
