So I started bending the shoe and had my grandson help me get it on and it was actually roomy for my size 7 so there will be plenty of room to put socks on with the shoe. I own another pair of lace up Doc Marten from 1993 and I have not worn them out and still trying. Let me say this IT IS WORTH THE MONEY BECAUSE YOU ARE GETTING A QUALITY SHOE WHICH YOU WILL HAVE A HARD TIME WEARING THEM OUT BECAUSE THEY LAST FOREVER!!!! The only thing I’ve noticed if that the tops of the shoes will rub my leg so I wear high socks to cushion my leg. I would say I’d buy again, but I doubt I’ll need to because I’m pretty sure these are going to last forever

Durable, all season shoe
I’ve worn the hell out of these shoes and they still look great! They’re durable and good for basically all types of weather. The only thing I’ve noticed if that the tops of the shoes will rub my leg so I wear high socks to cushion my leg. SIZE DOWN!
These boots are fantastic, but make sure to measure your feet before ordering! I HAD TO SIZE DOWN. I’m usually a size 8 women’s, but when the size 8 arrived, I could immediately tell that they were too large. I ordered a size 7, and they’re perfect. My best advice is to size down, but before you do, use the SIZING CHART - I wish I had to start! Copy and paste the name of this boot into google, and go on Doc Marten’s site. They’ll have a size chart in inches for the boot size. I found out that I’m a 7 in DM simply because the size 7 is 9.88 inches, 8 is 10.21 inches, and my feet using a ruler measure in at 9.75 inches. I never wound have known if not for measuring and using the chart - as I always wear an 8 but here had to go with 7.

Love these, but they need helping along
Okay, I'm not going to lie to you. These take some work. I've owned many pairs of docs over the years, and these were exactly what I was looking for. However, like my other docs, they needed to be broken in. The downside is that the Chelsea Boots don't have laces, so trying to get your foot in is R O U G H. I took a hammer to the stiff heel and the arch where I struggled, and now they're soft and fit like a dream. I stretched them out with bags of water inside and then putting them in the freezer for a day and it did 95% of the work, and the hammer did the other 5%.

Take the time to break them in
These Chelsea boots are so cute, but they are really hard to put on/take off the first few times, since the leather needs to break in. Don't let that discourage you though, break those babies in! Just a warning though, they are pretty heavy and can wear on your feet if you wear them long term.

All-day comfort !
My daughter loved these for the comfort and height of the heel. It’s been a year since I got them for her as a Christmas present and they still do not have scuff on them. She has a high arc, has found them easy to put on and comfortably have them all day🙂

Love my boots
Amazing boots! I am normally a 6.5 and went with a 7. A little tight around the ankle but with stretching and wear they are perfect now. Like any docs they become more comfortable and less stiff after you break them in. I heat mine with a blow dryer to help loosen the stiffness. The toe is wide and not narrow at all which I love. The platform is perfect and exactly what I wanted. I love these boots and can’t recommend them enough!
