Doritos Dippers Hint of Lime Vegetarian Tortilla Chips, Perfect for Dipping 270g (Case of 8)

What a flavor combination. I thought Tangy Cheese was good - and it is - but this is far better. The freshness is just right - and it is very addictive. If You like Doritos - and You like fresh taste - You got to try this one

I wasn't really sure what to expect with these, having never tried lime flavour crisps in general, let alone Doritos lime flavour crisps. These are really nice though. The crisps arrived all in one piece and were light, thin and a good texture. They're slightly salted, with the lime dusting adding an unusual but pleasant dynamic. I brought them out at a gathering of friends recently and they went well with the various dips others brought, especially the guacamole and salsa. The pack sizes mean you'll get a good couple of bowls full from each pack, and the overall price works out well if you like the flavour, but I'd recommend buying a smaller single pack before, because even though I enjoy the flavour, I'd think that it's not to everyone's taste.

So these huge bags of crunchy, tasty Doritos are made for sharing are they? No chance! I love Doritos, I love lime, put the two together and...mmm...delicious. I must admit I haven't tried them with a dip – sour cream is my choice, but I didn't have any in the fridge, so I just had to struggle on without it, really forcing them down my neck. Oooh, the things I do so that you, dear reader, can benefit from my expertise. I'd best check the other eight bags just to make sure they're fit for human consumption..... Take it from me....you'll hate them (reverse psychology there to deter you from buying them, leaving more for me!).

I love these lime tortilla chips. They are really moreish dipped in salsa but they are also nice as general crisps. Buying in bulk it's important to get a good use by date (although I find they stay fresh for a fair while after) and these came with about 4 months so plenty of time to get through 9 bags. They are really good value for money too.

Amazon Vine have been kind enough to provide me with 9 of these 230g bags of Doritos Hint of Lime flavour to review:) For anybody unfamiliar with Doritos these are Corn chips with a very satisfying crunch.These giant 230 gramme bags are sharing bags,it is however very easy to get carried away with these and to end up eating more in one sitting than you should do.I have just finished one full bag between 3 people,which is excessive.I would prefer to order these in smaller size bags,great though if you are having something like a party or family gathering and need a large quantity to go around.I especially,like the lime flavour,providing this snack with the correct degree of tanginess.Doritos are great to eat on their own,but even better as an accompaniment with dips,so they are versatile snacks. These Doritos are quite calorific at 149 calories for a 30g serving,so there are definitely healthier crisps/snacks out there than these but they enjoyable to eat.Not sure of the price point of this bulk order on Amazon as it says the item is currently unavailable. Anyway,more than happy to award Lime flavoured Doritos with the maximum of 5 stars.

The pack of 9 Doritos Hint of Lime are sharing bags (230g each). They look much like any other Doritos in triangles with little flecks (perhaps parsley and other things) but have a very light flavour to them which makes them ideal for dips where you want to enjoy the flavour of the dip more than the crisp but are not as plain as just un/salted ones. Eating them on their own, the corn can sometimes overpower the flavouring but other times the flavouring lasts a bit longer. They’re not something I’d really eat on their own as I think they can be a little bland but definitely with dips. My box of 9 had a best before of 4 months time so no great rush to get through them all.

A big case of these gorgeous Hint of Lime Doritos arrived today; we are looking after the grandchildren during the holidays, so everyone fell on them! Each pack is huge; 230g,and as it says on the pack,"More for sharing!" We all love them;the hint of lime is very subtle, but deliciously tangy,and the big packs are brilliant when you're entertaining a crowd!
