Easy to use, works great
I've used these for years with zero issues. I prefer them to cutting and splicing when tapping into a circuit. It's easier, cleaner and doesn't compromise the wire integrity except for a small hole in the sheathing which can be sealed with the smallest dab of liquid tape if the tap is no longer needed. Looking at some old connections I made for a fog light relay, there's no problems at all after several years exposed to the elements. However, I do recommend a couple small dabs of silicone or dielectric if they are going to be exposed to moisture.

More expensive that vampire taps, and worth every penny!
Positaps are the easiest, most sure way to tap power for an automotive accessory. They are easy to use, give a clean installation and work EVERY time. No more needing to pry off the failed tap and try again an inch further down the wire. They also do less damage to the tapped wire, so you can easily remove them later if needed. Yes, they cost more per piece that the typical vampire tap. But they easily justify the cost by doing a MUCH better job. But some Positaps and you'll never use the cheap, crimp-on taps again!

Wire splicing simplified
Posi-taps are simply the easiest way to splice wires without soldering or crimping. I’ve been using these for years in high vibration environments (such as installing car stereos) and they never vibrate loose or fail to stay securely connected. These T-taps allow you to easily and securely tap into any spot along a wire without having to strip a section of it or damage the wire strands. You also don’t need any tools to get a solid connection. Just twist and you’re done. Most recently I used these to add a pair of LED reverse lights to the rear bumper of my F150, and I was able to easily tap into the reverse light wiring without damaging or compromising the factory wiring harness at the taillight connection. I can’t for sure say that they’re weatherproof or waterproof, but I’ve used them on a boat trailer wiring harness and they’ve been working well even after being submerged in salt water several times this season. I’m not sure that’s recommended or can be considered a long-term solution, but it’s gotten me through this season and bought me some time until I have a chance to replace the entire wiring harness over the winter.

Best connectors on the market.
The title says it all, the work awesome hold and grip. a slightly waterproof by adding shrink wrap for a solid connection and keeps most moisture out with shrink wrapping, used 3 sizes of Shr Wrp. They are too pricey $$. The best connectors, however extremely over priced.

The best interior wire taps!
These tap the wire by piercing it using a needle-type device and won’t physically damage the wiring like a scotch-lock or T-tap will. Unscrew the top and bottom parts of the tap to start. Take the top part and insert the wire you want to tap into the slot. Next, simply screw the body on until tight and the wire is tapped. Strip the wire you are adding and insert it through the bottom piece. Insert the stripped part of the wire into the tap body and screw the bottom piece tightly into the body. Done! I would just be cautious using these in wet environments like engine bays or other external wiring as there isn’t really a way to seal the tap.

Absolutely the best there is! PERIOD!
Since I was 12 years old wiring christmas lights to my radio controlled cars, I have been troubled with wiring in tight places and loose connections, and the sheer amount of time it takes to properly and securely connect a wire. There is no other, more-secure way to tap into a wire, automotive or otherwise, than with the Posi-tap! No loose wires, no extra tools, great for tight spaces, works on many size wires and wires can be doubled if too small. No exposed wires and a solid, REMOVABLE connection! Forget the blue plastic crimp connectors that slice the wire sheath and still often don't make a secure connection and take a lot of aggravation to close securely (and still should be wrapped as they CAN pop open). Forget tapping wires, soldering, and electrical tape....or worse yet, cheap run-of-the-mill automotive connectors. Never been happier with a wiring product NO TOOLS REQUIRED...AND...They saved me paying a fix-it ticket for my aftermarket lighting!

These are very easy to use. I've used other types of posi-lock products and they all work great. Only thing is they're a bit on the expensive side. There are cheaper sellers around but they're tough to find.
