Bright lights and strong magnet
These will get attention wherever you need it I bought 2 and they will go on the back end of a dump trailer. The instructions in the package are confusing and really no help you have to take out 4 small screws to access the battery area on the back side to install your own 4-AA batteries that are not included. Then with a single press of the yellow button on the back you go from solid bright light to flashing to off. With the strength of the magnet wherever you place them I feel confident they will not move. Overall the light seems well made and weather proof and can I definitely recommend!

Really work at traffic crash scenes.
I keep these in my truck, always ready to help law enforcement at crash scenes.

Works as needed but pay close attention, its only 1 per package and no safety wire.

Emergency Lighting
I bought this item to disassemble to get the red lighting out to use in a deer blind. However, when it arrived. I was amazed at the quality. So instead of using it for that, I ordered a battery powered LED light string. I then took this light to the shop and I use it for exactly for what it was designed. I attach it to my tractor or implement when I am traveling on the road. Shows up very well and the magnetic base holds it tightly (I still tie a cord around it just in case the no-shocks tractor ride gets too rough). This replaced my older emergency light because it is brighter and a little larger.

Bright but seems cheap and inefficient way to change batteries
The instructions are for a completely different product. They don't resemble this light in any way. There are 8 screws on the back of the light. To change the batteries you need to remove the 4 screws on the ends of the light. NOT the 4 screws that set lower on the light as you look at it from the back. In my experience, you'll be able to do this once or twice before the screws strip out the threads in the plastic base. Not impressed with the battery install at all. The light is bright and the strobe is nice. I'm putting it on a trailer for a hay rack ride tonight. I'll see how well it holds. Overall, seems rather cheap for the mondy

Cheaply made lights that would be great, if only they worked
After I bought a pair of these last February, my initial impressions of them were great. The lights were very bright, and clearly visible even on a sunny day. The magnets were strong enough to hold without any worries. We used them for a few short (~3 miles one way) trips, and we liked them. And then the problems started. First, one wouldn't stay on for the whole trip. Then it wouldn't stay on long enough to get out the driveway. Then both started having problems. Forget the bouncing and bumping of a trailer going down the road, a light to moderate knock on the case with your hand is enough to make them go off. The snap when the magnets attach to something is enough to make the lights go off. One of them is so bad that I can turn it on, rotate it 90 degrees in my hand, and it will go off. We tried to take one apart, but nothing appeared to be loose inside. The batteries, lights, and switch were all connected to a circuit board, and the only conclusion we could reach was that the board was faulty and there was nothing we could do. I almost bought another pair of lights earlier this year, but now I'm glad I didn't, because if these things are so cheaply built that they can't withstand 7 months of very occasional use over short distances then they're junk when they come out of the factory. They're $19.99 and they're made in China, and they have the quality of something that's $19.99 and made in China.

Works well when wired trailer lights don't work
These lights are good stopgaps for the dead and broken taillights on my boat and utility trailers. The strong magnets hold them firmly in place, and they're bright enough to see even in sunlight. You do need steel to attach them, so you'll need to make sure your trailer isn't all aluminum. I liked being able to pop batteries in, attach the lights and go, without wiring. They won't replace turn signals, but they are more than adequate for illumination. They probably will get you to the trailer repair shop without being pulled over. There's also a flashing function, if you want to be even more careful.

No need for electrical hook up
This light is go bright it gives you the visuals you need to tow something without having to have an electrical hookup. We used it to tow a log splitter.

Very good solid lamp
Purchased two lamps to go on the rear of a trailer pulled by a slow moving vehicle. The magnets were strong enough to hold the lamps in position and were as bright as those on cars. Didn't require the flashing option, easy to select between the two. Very happy with the purchase.
