This set of food is adorable. My son specifically asked for eggs and ice cream for his pretend kitchen and store and this set has both. It comes with SO many different things, some of which we already had, but also a lot of things we didn't such as bacon, snap peas, cauliflower, asparagus, celery, white and wheat bread, eggs in the shell and also fried eggs. Out of all the pieces, only two are cardboard...a carton of milk and a carton of lemon tea. The rest are soft and durable plastic. My son is happy and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good variety for a decent price.

Love this purchase. The food is good quality and new foods that I haven't seen in other sets. Purchased for a 2 year old and she loves it. Constantly playing with the pieces moving from room to room in a giant foil baking tray.

I bought this set for my 2-year old, whom received a toy kitchen for her birthday, but no food for the kitchen. This is by far one of her favorite things to play with. Here's my breakdown: Pros: - 90% of the pieces are really high quality. The plastic is hard and after a few months of play we haven't lost any of the plastic pieces yet. Most of the pieces are really well formed too. By that, I mean that they actually LOOK like the foods they're representing. The lettuce leaves look like lettuce leaves, not sad little green sheets of plastic. The color on the pieces are also really good. The strawberries are especially nice. The foods overall have a really good sense of realism to them. - Variety: There are a ton of different food items, and my daughter really enjoyed sitting down and learning the names for each of them. There are also a lot of different foods to do different things with. My daughter puts all of her juices and bottles in the fridge, and puts her pizza in the oven, etc. Cons - Some of the pieces defy the good quality of the majority of the bag of foods. The bacon is made of soft plastic, and is really bendable. I had to take it away from my daughter because she was attempting to eat it. The paper boxes were also gone almost immediately. I tried to tape the seams up so my daughter wouldn't pull them apart, but she destroyed them anyway. The boxes might be better suited for an older child. - If you have a smaller child, you're really going to have to pick through the bag and see what you need to remove. Other than taking away the bacon, I also removed a few other pieces that were small enough for her to swallow and choke on, like the fries. Overall, this is a great little set, and my daughter loves it. It was a really good buy, and I would definitely recommend it.

I am happy with the quality of these food items. They are made of durable plastic materials. Majority of these items look like what they're supposed to be. There are a few soft cardboard type items you're suppose to put together. Not a problem at all, but can possibly get damaged quickly if near water or animals that chew. I would prefer all products made of plastic and none with paper. I would purchase this again given the realistic nature and quality. My son has been playing with these toys in his kitchen and has been so happy "cooking" for his Mom and Dad.

Hey there ! Nice little set of food for kids to play with . There is small parts though so be careful! You want to make sure to buy for kids who do not keep putting stuff in their mouth. Safer to an 2 1/2 or maybe a little older . But there's some really cute stuff in there and there's veggies, pizza, waffles, ice cream, bread all kinds of cool stuff ! My grandson really loves playing with those with the cool set of dishes that we got him also ! Some of the stuff squeezes really easy like the little bottles and cans so that's a little bit of a bummer also there's a couple pieces of cardboard like the milk cartons, again a little bit of a bummer but that's okay, kind of to be expected . And he's a little bit careful we showed him how to be a lot more careful with stuff . But still all in all most of the stuff is pretty good . But again like I say be careful with the smaller parts like the French fries are pretty small so I wouldn't let little tiny kids play with those. And there's a couple other things that are pretty small so you might want to be real careful . Those are the only drawbacks for me. The colors are really nice and he seems to have a lot of fun with the food and recognizing them as good for learning about food and stuff like that . All in all a fun set but like I say be careful with smaller children . Thanks
