Perfect for 2nd half of my abdominalplasti recovery.
I used this toward the end of my diastases repair. It was the 2nd style garment I bought because the first one became too big as my body healed and the swelling went down. I measured my torso and used their size chart and my fit was perfect. It offered the support I didn’t realize I was no longer getting from the other garment, which was now too big. I felt brand new when I put this on and it made getting around and being productive so much easier. One thing to consider though if you will be wearing this after abdominal surgery is the bottom snaps and there is NO WAY I would have been able to bend to snap and unsnap to use the restroom right after the surgery. So, for your immediate post-op garment, I’d recommend one that goes to your mid thigh and has an opening so you can easily just sit on the toilet and go. Then as you heal and need a tighter fit, switch to this one because it closes at the bottom and you can wear loose fitting dresses or shorts without worrying about everyone seeing your private parts and you won’t see the thigh undergarments sticking out the bottom of your dress or shorts. Hang in there, the recovery is hard, but having the right undergarment will make healing a lot easier!

Doctors orders!
Fit perfect initially. I had to size down to large. That was probably the size I should have ordered initially. I did adjust to the last set of hooks. It was comfortable

Uncomfortable with not great compression in tummy
The compression is not very good and the opening for the legs is very tight. The hooks for the top that resemble bra straps are heavy and big metal and cut into my underarms. I bought a medium and a xsmall and I have the same issue with both. The crotch areas is very wide and cuts into your legs. Overall this is not a great product for the cost. I did size down to xsmall after 4 weeks. However, I am super uncomfortable all the time and only wearing this when I need to leave the house and wear “normal” clothes. Otherwise I use the belly band my doctor gave me after a mini tummy tuck.

Like it but some discomfort
I got it for after my tummy tuck. I like it overall but don’t love it. Measured on my presurgical belly and I think that was a good measurement. I am 5’ 5”, presurgical waist 35in, and ordered a XL. Pros: lays nicely, smooth finish so no itchy bumps, I have a JP drain and easily able to wear with that. I would say it gives nice compression that doesn’t feel like too much. Easily able to reattach the bottom fasteners when I go to the bathroom. Cons: Arm straps are a little uncomfortable, I have all the way out and they cut into my armpits a little bit; the holes around the thighs feel tight. I have thicker thighs and it’s a little tight round them. Granted I do wear underwear with them. I bought one with shorts too but I think I will return that one, I think one will be enough for now. Thinking about getting one for my second portion. Don’t know yet.

Post tummy tuck surgery
Don’t cheap out. This is the brand my Plastic Surgeon uses. After my tummy tuck I woke up with a black panty line/zipper and hook one on me. I had ordered these pre-op and love them. I opted for the straps to help support my posture. The material is soft and easy to sleep in. Before my surgery I did order several different brands but sent them back. I ordered these not knowing I would receive one from my surgeon. Happy I decided to spend the extra bucks on this quality product. I’m 5’3 123lbs and the medium was perfect.

Works with a few additions!
I agree with others - the arm straps dig into your skin. For a recovery item, this definitely needs perfecting. The straps should be moved more toward the front of the axilla (armpit). I’m petite usually a zero and two in clothing, I can be a xs in “regular” sized clothing. I am/was 125 lbs and size 36c (post pregnancy) and 5’ tall so with measurements and traditional sizes I bought a medium. My measurements had put me across three Sizes M-XL. Anything bigger than a M would have been quite loose. It’s perfect. I wear a t shirt and granny underwear underneath to prevent any chafing as recommended by my surgeon. it makes adjustments so much easier and better. I don’t worry about rubbing and misaligning any ABD pads keeping my surgical site undisturbed. With that said, it’s a 3 rating product because the digging is a major flaw for the price. Nothing can be done about it since I read this is common. It really hurts my skin and I constantly need to adjust it. I say bring the connector piece higher or move toward the back like traditional bras, so that it’s not in the area where we naturally close our arms causing that piece to dig. Also, the seller is an authorized seller so it’s a big deal that they offer return/exchange thru Amazon since Marena Group LLC doesn’t accept returns though IDK if they offer replacements which unfortunately results in some horror reviews I read that comes with the territory. Overall, I am keeping it. I need it and it’s functional though wish there was a more comfortable option. Not that I know of so sticking with this one.

Almost as great
If you want quality and comfort this brand is it. I’m 4 weeks post op from a tummy tuck and the thigh high compression garmet my surgeons office gave me was getting a little loose. Plus it is summer time and this panty length garmet allows you to wear shorts and dresses. It’s so much cooler to wear. Although it doesn’t have a wide opening to easily use the bathroom, this one has a flap that you can hook on. This garmet is almost as great but the flap in the crotch area is a little snug in the groin area so like others I just hook the outter edges. Definitely going to buy another one.

Good compression
I bought this to wear after my tummy tuck with liposuction. It gives the perfect amount of compression without being too tight. I initially wanted one with a zipper, but glad it has eye hooks. The surgical staff were able to leave the eye hooks closed and put it on me like a pair of shorts. The eye hooks allow you to run any drain lines through if needed. The eye hooks at the crotch make it easy to use the bathroom without getting anything on the garment. Go by your measurements, not the size you usually wear. I wear a size large shirt but bought this in 2x after measuring my waist and hips.
