Fun-durable-cool toy!
I bought this for my Godson's 6th birthday and it was a big hit. In order to operate this toy you're supposed to hold one hand under and the other hand over the flyer in order to trigger the infrared light and tell it to fly up, however, it's a bit difficult to control and the propellers seem to bump your hand, which is why it's probably geared to children 8 and up. This is a very durable mini flyer as my Godson liked to see it hit the wall, ceiling and floor and it continued to work.

Gets boring quickly
Granddaughter wanted it. Played with it for 5 minutes & the excitement was gone!

Cheap generic version of the toy, not a name brand
Ordered the smiley face specifically. Item showed up as a generic no name brand with a pink ball globe. Kids still enjoyed it, but had I known I was going robbed receiving just any color and a generic no name brand I would have bought it for $6.99 not $17.99 since it's essentially the same thing.

I Skip this Toy
It flies for 3 seconds before hitting the ground. My 7 yr old nephew was scared of it. When I tried to play with it, I understood why. You use your hand under it to trigger the infra red and tell it to fly up. However, it almost never flies upward and it will surely strike your hand, which was quite painful.

Fun Toy
This toy is SO much fun!!! I gave one to my niece and nephews (6 in all) for Christmas and it was hilarious watching them play with these! They found that each remote control can control other Smileys so it turned in a battle to see who could crash the other Smileys the fastest. Amazingly, none of the Smileys broke!

Christmas gift
It was a christmas gift for my niece, 9 years old, and ahe says she loves it. So I guess that was a good choice.

Fun for a few minutes
Silly little toy, really. Fun for a few minutes.

Garbage
I bought two. The first wouldn't fly at all after charging. The other flew once - sideways the hit the floor hard instead of hovering and now doesn't turn on. I think they put more effort into the marketing than the product.
