This is especially beneficial for photographers who shoot in RAW format or do extensive video recording, as it minimizes the need to frequently change cards or offload data during a shoot. **Speed and Performance:** This card is rated as a UHS-I Class 10, U3, and V30 card, which signifies its high data transfer speeds and ability to handle 4K UHD video recording. The U3 and V30 ratings are crucial for ensuring that the card can consistently write and read data at the necessary speeds, preventing any buffer overflows during rapid shooting or video capture. This card's performance is reliable for capturing fast-action shots and high-definition video content. **Durability:** SanDisk's Extreme PRO series is known for its durability. This card is built to withstand extreme conditions, including shock, temperature variations, water, and X-ray exposure. For photographers who work in diverse environments or shoot in challenging conditions, this rugged design is a definite plus. **Compatibility:** The SDXC format ensures broad compatibility with a wide range of cameras, including DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and camcorders. However, it's always a good practice to check your camera's specifications to ensure it supports SDXC cards. **Price:** While this card is not the cheapest option on the market, it offers excellent value for its performance and reliability. As a photographer, investing in a quality memory card is essential to safeguard your work and ensure smooth shooting sessions. **Brand Reputation:** SanDisk is a well-established and trusted brand in the memory card industry. Their products are widely used by professionals and enthusiasts alike, which adds to the card's reliability. In summary, the SanDisk 128GB Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I Card (SDSDXXY-128G-GN4IN) is an excellent choice for photographers who require a high-capacity, high-speed, and durable memory card for their work. Very nice and very very economical!
Alright fellow photogs and camera aficionados of the Amazon world, let's talk SD cards, shall we? Now, I'm rockin' the Lumix S5 IIX, which, yeah, she's a bit high maintenance and demands those UHS-II cards. But here's where things get interesting. Enter the SanDisk 128GB Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I Card. While my Lumix loves those UHS-IIs for video, when it comes to snapping those killer stills, I've been leaning into the embrace of this SanDisk card. Why, you ask? A few tasty reasons. 1. Price Tag Magic: Okay, so I scoped out a few places, and Amazon's price for this card? Pretty unbeatable. Like, 'is-this-a-typo?' level unbeatable. Compared to some other online giants (you know who I'm talking about), this is wallet-friendly territory. 2. Performance: Don't let the UHS-I label fool you. This card is quick, reliable, and when capturing those high-res images, it does its thing and does it well. No lag, no fuss. Just pure, unadulterated photo goodness. 3. Capacity & Quality: 128GB means I'm not in a rush to transfer photos every other day. And with SanDisk's rep? I'm confident my shots are safe and sound until I get around to it. In a nutshell? While UHS-II cards have their spot in the limelight (especially for video needs), for still photography, the SanDisk Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I is like that sneaky, economical MVP in the background. If you're after quality, performance, and a price that makes you feel like you've pulled a fast one on the system, then give this card a shot. You might just be as pleasantly surprised as I was! 📸👌🛍️

FAST
I tested this drive with a USB adapter for a PC, and tested with large video files to get an idea of the read/write speeds. The read speed exceeded the specs, working with about 15GB of data. I was reading at about 185 MB/s over 15GB of data read from this drive and written to an NVMe which is a bit faster. Considering this is rated for 170MB/s, that's quite good. The write speed wasn't as good based on how it's rated, but I still find it close enough to rate it 5 stars. Once again, writing to this drive, and coming from an NVMe, it was writing at about 85MB/s, and this is rated for 90MB/s. However, the way my system wrote to this drive was almost as if this has about 4GB very fast cache, or it has a small segment of very fast storage, because my system showed that within about 5-6 seconds it had already written about 4GB to it. Then it slowed down and it was showing something like 160 - 180MB/s for a time period, and then the write operation for the PC showed as complete. The USB adapter though was still showing activity, meaning that data was still in the process of getting written, and probably from it's fastest storage to slower storage. The time I calculated for the write time included all the time that the USB adapter was showing activity. If I would have based the write time on when the computer showed the write was completed, the write speed would have been more like 100MB/s I tried to read about these SD cards but couldn't see anything about faster cache or a small amount of fast storage, but that's the way the disk seems to work as far as what the Operating System showed. I know that modern SSDs use that strategy to improve performance, so when you test write operations, you always have to write more data than the size of the cache to see the speed that the main storage runs at. Either way, I'm very impressed with it, and as long as it lasts a long time I'll be happy. It was a great price when I bought it and worth every penny.

Excellent product
I purchased this 1 TB card to be used as a permanent secondary storage media for my almost full laptop. I just get it and test it for more than 4 hours with adhoc software and got this result: Warning: Only 976255 of 976375 MByte tested. Test finished without errors. You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again. Writing speed: 63.6 MByte/s Reading speed: 64.0 MByte/s H2testw v1.4 Keep in mind speed depends on many factors, so do not blame the card. I plan to keep it within my laptop card slot. I think it is a great solution to store media files. It works great for my win10 laptop but not for my macbook pro because it does not come with any card slot, and card adaptors can fail I am a youtuber with more than 160000 subs, but do not plan to use it with my cams, because I do not want to risk many videos on just one card. I recently lost 3 excellent action videos due to a bad card adaptor for my macbook pro, so I do not recommend to use this card for your cam, but I do strongly recommend to use it as a permanent storage media. I have a 256 GB sandisk card for one of my cams, and always try to transfer my videos as soon as possible. I received my card pretty fast (amazon is doing it great now) , safe and good package. I recommend buy directly from Amazon I will try to update this review next year

Expensive for UHS-I, but fast with the right reader (see details). Recommended
I purchased two of the SanDisk 256GB Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I Cards (SDSDXXY-256G-GN4IN) to use as the recording media for a Canon XA50 camcorder. I've been buying SanDisk products for over 20 years, and have had pretty good experiences with the brand overall. Brand equity or not, I do know that SDXC cards are basically a commodity, at this point. Sure, there are the extremely fast UHS-II cards at the high end, but my needs are relatively modest. The XA50 maxes out at a 160Mbit/s (20MB/s) bitrate, so speed (for me) is more about how quickly I can get the raw footage off of the camera, and on to my editing rig. An ATTO run puts the Extreme PRO at ~85MB/s write and ~92MB/s read. Good speeds, to be sure, but less than the claimed 170MB/s. It's clearly stated on the product page that you only get that speed if you use SanDisk's reader, and that makes sense, since the UHS-I theoretical maximum speed is 104MB/s. So how does the Extreme PRO manage UHS-II-like speeds with SanDisk's reader? Who knows... maybe faster bus timing? Regardless, I wasn't able to get over 95MB/s with the collection of readers I have, so I'll definitely spend the $17 to get SanDisk's SDDR-C531-GNANN. In terms of value added, the Extreme PRO comes with a time-bombed copy of LC-Tech's Rescue Pro Deluxe. Rescue Pro Deluxe is a data recovery package that basically dumps the raw memory contents of the SDXC card to disk. As long as your data didn't use full-disk encryption, you should be able to get most of your data back, in the event of a hardware fault. The software has a 2-year activation. It feels a little weird to have a time-limited license on a product that has a lifetime warranty, but it's still a useful thing to have. The software's UX looks a little dated, but appears to work fine. If you really like it, you can buy a perpetual license for about $60. The main question for anyone looking at this product should be, "do I need THIS card, when I can get another U3 card for half the price?". For me, the answer is "yes". Nearly doubling my transfer speed and having data recovery software make it worth it to me. The next logical question might be why you'd opt for a fast UHS-I card, over a really cheap (but faster) UHS-II card. For that, it comes down to the trust that comes from SanDisk's brand equity. Outstanding quality and Performance for 4k Cameras
I purchased this SD card for my Sony a6300 for more memory but primarily for the 170MBPS. See I was recently using SD cards with 90MBPS or around there and was noticing how slow it'd be to upload footage and the quality recording 4k. At first, I hadn't realized why this would be the case. Until I found out the camera I use collects in simple terms a lot of data and that data is too much (just slower) for SD cards under 100MBPS. So I decided to pick this SD card up in hopes to improve my quality of videos and speed up Post-production / Uploading. There was an absolute change in the performance of the vat. I felt like I unlocked a cheat code, haha, cutting downtime spent uploading to just 30 minutes, when before it would take me close to 1-2 hours. Now I understand it depends on the format you record in. Being that I record only in 4k and render in 1080p I had to make sure I was getting the topmost quality out of my camera. So for those who want to record in 4k, this is for you! This SD card executed the Task greatly. PRO: It's quick, performs excellent, and hasn't given me any issues in the months I've had it. CONS: The only con I have for this product is the Storage space, It fills up quickly but that's my own fault for buying a card with only 64GB. SO if you're recording in 4k I recommend going for the higher storage. Hope this helps, I'm buying another one with more GB too and will review it as well. Ask questions I'll do my best to help

Great and cheap
The SanDisk SDSDXXY‑064G‑GN4IN is one of those “quietly great” 64 GB SD cards that just works without fuss. It feels solid in the hand, slots easily into cameras and consoles, and handles Full HD photos and videos smoothly, with no noticeable hiccups in everyday use. What I really like is how dependable it feels for travel and hobby projects—whether you’re shooting family clips, drone footage, or expanding storage on a handheld, it does the job quietly and reliably. For the price, it’s a no‑brainer if you want a trustworthy, easy‑going card that you can keep in your gear bag and forget about until you need it.

容量/空き容量 953.4GB カードリーダー:富士通 UHXC3 カードスロット ----------------------------------------------------------------------- CrystalDiskMark 6.0.0 x64 (C) 2007-2017 hiyohiyo Crystal Dew World : https://crystalmark.info/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------- * MB/s = 1,000,000 bytes/s [SATA/600 = 600,000,000 bytes/s] * KB = 1000 bytes, KiB = 1024 bytes Sequential Read (Q= 32,T= 1) : 91.654 MB/s Sequential Write (Q= 32,T= 1) : 82.859 MB/s Random Read 4KiB (Q= 8,T= 8) : 11.933 MB/s [ 2913.3 IOPS] Random Write 4KiB (Q= 8,T= 8) : 3.452 MB/s [ 842.8 IOPS] Random Read 4KiB (Q= 32,T= 1) : 12.207 MB/s [ 2980.2 IOPS] Random Write 4KiB (Q= 32,T= 1) : 3.392 MB/s [ 828.1 IOPS] Random Read 4KiB (Q= 1,T= 1) : 12.122 MB/s [ 2959.5 IOPS] Random Write 4KiB (Q= 1,T= 1) : 3.239 MB/s [ 790.8 IOPS] Test : 1024 MiB [N: 0.0% (0.0/953.4 GiB)] (x5) [Interval=5 sec] Date : 2021/04/07 21:11:27 OS : Windows 10 Professional [10.0 Build 19042] (x64) カードリーダー:SANDISK SDDR-A631 (USB-C接続) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- CrystalDiskMark 6.0.0 x64 (C) 2007-2017 hiyohiyo Crystal Dew World : https://crystalmark.info/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------- * MB/s = 1,000,000 bytes/s [SATA/600 = 600,000,000 bytes/s] * KB = 1000 bytes, KiB = 1024 bytes Sequential Read (Q= 32,T= 1) : 151.452 MB/s Sequential Write (Q= 32,T= 1) : 95.973 MB/s Random Read 4KiB (Q= 8,T= 8) : 3.424 MB/s [ 835.9 IOPS] Random Write 4KiB (Q= 8,T= 8) : 1.567 MB/s [ 382.6 IOPS] Random Read 4KiB (Q= 32,T= 1) : 2.566 MB/s [ 626.5 IOPS] Random Write 4KiB (Q= 32,T= 1) : 1.580 MB/s [ 385.7 IOPS] Random Read 4KiB (Q= 1,T= 1) : 3.783 MB/s [ 923.6 IOPS] Random Write 4KiB (Q= 1,T= 1) : 1.507 MB/s [ 367.9 IOPS] Test : 1024 MiB [E: 0.0% (0.0/953.4 GiB)] (x5) [Interval=5 sec] Date : 2021/04/10 19:19:07 OS : Windows 10 Professional [10.0 Build 19042] (x64) 2021/07/26 追記 アロケーションユニットサイズが512KBもあるのでご注意を。

PCでのベンチマーク ----------------------------------------------------------------------- CrystalDiskMark 6.0.2 x64 (C) 2007-2018 hiyohiyo Crystal Dew World : https://crystalmark.info/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------- * MB/s = 1,000,000 bytes/s [SATA/600 = 600,000,000 bytes/s] * KB = 1000 bytes, KiB = 1024 bytes Sequential Read (Q= 32,T= 1) : 90.257 MB/s Sequential Write (Q= 32,T= 1) : 82.891 MB/s Random Read 4KiB (Q= 8,T= 8) : 4.697 MB/s [ 1146.7 IOPS] Random Write 4KiB (Q= 8,T= 8) : 2.224 MB/s [ 543.0 IOPS] Random Read 4KiB (Q= 32,T= 1) : 4.692 MB/s [ 1145.5 IOPS] Random Write 4KiB (Q= 32,T= 1) : 2.213 MB/s [ 540.3 IOPS] Random Read 4KiB (Q= 1,T= 1) : 4.418 MB/s [ 1078.6 IOPS] Random Write 4KiB (Q= 1,T= 1) : 2.217 MB/s [ 541.3 IOPS] Test : 1024 MiB [I: 0.0% (0.0/59.4 GiB)] (x5) [Interval=5 sec] Date : 2019/03/07 19:03:43 OS : Windows 10 Professional [10.0 Build 17763] (x64)
