Can I purchase 1.5 or 2 inch blade attachment with this trimmer?

Mine came with three cutting guides,plus you can shear directly without a guide for a very close trim. I use mine on my long haired cat whose fur gets matted. It surprised me she tolerated the buzz but it is way gentler than my husband’s Wahl trimmer. The guides look to be 1/4,1/2 , and 1 inch cutting lengths. I hope this helps.

Can these be used on people?

I haven't tried using it on people, but it works very well on dogs and cats. The different heads for the trimmer are intended for different lengths of fur, not human hair. There are human hair trimmers on the market that would probably work better on people.
