A very capable, handy & useful repair kit. The screwdrivers, tweezers, screws, nuts & accessories appear durable & well made. All the tools & accessories fit both snug & securely within their respective plastic cases & every item, from all the tools to the small screws, washers & nuts have their own place & or compartment for storage. While yes this kit does costs a little bit more than other spectacle repair kits listed, you do however definitely get you're money's worth & I for one am both very pleased & glad that I elected to purchase this comprehensive, durable & quality made repair kit as a pose to a cheaper less capable & or inferior one. This kit is more than suited to repairing my spectacles & I can highly recommend such.

Good value for the money………! This is perhaps a quality control issue ….but the screw driver slotted head is far too wide to fit glasses screws …as it was I used the end of a sharp knife. I do believe if your doing a job do it right but have the right tools...

Like everyone else this kit is everything for those of us reliant on glasses. However tweezers aside getting the wretched small screw in and being sure its the right one if yours mysteriously has vaporised is hard work. So there was me I bought this just in case but picked up my glasses after a nap and the arm fell on the floor. There is only one issue. When you are as badly sighted as me when your glasses are the broken thing you cant see well enough without them to fix them. (Im -6.5 in both eyes but also need a +3 reading) 10 mins later of groping round the floor the realisation the screw cant be there (while fighting off the dogs who think this is a great game) i find this box of screws and screwdriver. So. I estimate from squinting and all but sticking my eyeball in it that “this” screw looks likely the one. Although to be fair the difference between some of them barely is humanly tellable. Now to get it in the holes. So another 10 minutes of trying really hard to get the right end of a probaly less than 2mm screw with what now feels like Hagrid sized hands and result. It was or at least as far as i can tell. The right one. Hallelujah. Would have been a ton easier with screws that stuck to the screwdriver. If it came with magnetic screwdrivers. I don’t remember nor could i find them. So i only had the keychain one and all screws

My partner regularly breaks her reading glasses, usually one or other arm falls off! Finding an appropriate tiny screw is difficult but this kit solves that problem. With a range of tiny screws, different lengths and thicknesses, and some useful tiny screwdrivers, repairs are a lot easier! Plus, there are also replacement nose pieces and other handy and difficult to find items. Great value and nicely packaged. Now I just need a magnifying glass and some thinner fingers....

I bought this in Oct 2020, but have only just this morning (22nd April 2021) had the need to use it as I finally lost a lens-holding screw in my spectacles. It's compact and quite comprehensively stocked with - it seems - everything you could possibly need. However... Apart from the small cleaning cloth being missing, it turned out to be a complete nightmare trying to open the box containing all the tiny screws etc as the lid is tightly held on by a plastic tape. Okay, so I managed to eventually cut this away. Next step was to open the box. Again, the lid is very tightly held on but with a bit of effort I managed to pop it off. Trouble is that the tiny screws scattered EVERYWHERE!!! The comprehensive nature of the item is actually quite good but the box it's in leaves something to be desired!!! Really bad design. I had to try and locate all the screws that had scattered... and some might still be missing now! I hate to think where they might turn up! Ideally, for an item like this, the lid should be hinged and with an easy-open catch. An internal cover to stop the screws spontaneously scattering on trying to open the thing would also be a sensible addition. If it hadn't been for this flaw in the box design, I'd have given a higher rating.

I bought these as one of the screws in my glasses had fallen out over regular use, fully expecting there to not be a compatible screw since Specsavers doesn't really provide documentation on hardware specifications. The only problem I have with this kit is with the nose pads - they have a plastic shim inside each nose pad that you have to take out in order to put it on your glasses. Unfortunately, these shims are quite large and are very difficult to extract from the pads without shearing the silicone nose pads in half. 6 are supplied, and 2 nose pads broke while attempting to extract out the plastic shim. If you're looking to repair more than one pair of glasses, I would definitely recommend purchasing nose pads from a different supplier, but overall the kit does what it says.
