this product work under water

The video says it works under water, right at the beginning, almost first thing, the thing that has the answers with absolutely minimal investment says yes, it does.

Will this repair a tear in a Tonnaeu vinyl truck cover. will the edges be wind proof?

I tried to use this for my hot tub cover, which is outside and it didn’t stick for very long. The material is awesome for repair, I think a different adhesive is needed.

Will this repair a pool cover? The cover is the same as a heavy duty blue tarp that you would cover a wood pile with.

That's what I used mine for. I had a couple large tears. I sewed them first with a plastic thread then covered the seams with the compound and patch. I may still spray some clear flex seal over the whole mess.

The blue vinyl is very tough and did not distort when the glue was applied. The glue is on point. Used for a pool liner repair. I would highly recommend to others.
