Harringtons Complete Grain Free Hypoallergenic Turkey & Sweet Potato Dry Adult Dog Food 15kg - Made with All Natural Ingredients

I was a bit apprehensive about ordering this on here as they're not great with their use/sell by dates, especially when it comes to pet foods. Add the numerous images of mould and what are clearly rodent gnawed holes haphazardly taped back together in the reviews and it was definitely a gamble. But my local mill has stopped making the excellent hypoallergenic food my dogs have been on for the past 8 or so years and none of the alternatives they still stock were suitable, and I need home delivery. The offer price was a bonus, and it's reasonable at regular price too. We're still switching over, so gradually adding an increasing amount of the new to a decreasing amount of the old. Predictably, my elderly hoover isn't at all interested in the old food she used to excitedly jump up and down for and is now only eating the new, carefully picking them out one by one rather than her usual "breathing it down." Thankfully, this hasn't caused any problems, presumably because the ingredients are quite similar even if the kibbles are about a quarter of the size and a touch more stinky. She is slightly more thirsty after eating, but she stops guzzling when told so to avoid any regurgitation issues, of which we've had many. They're both very sensitive and quickly unwell, but I've not noticed anything to be concerned about. No sickness, loose stools, changes in wind etc. I did dig through the bag to make sure there wasn't anything untoward, and carefully checked it for holes and the date (02/23) before even considering feeding it to them though and will do the same for any subsequent orders.

Our dog likes this food. He likes the flavour soaked or served dry or with a little meat. Keeps his coat shiny. Economical food delivered to the door. Would recommend this brand have had other dogs on it successfully.

Bought it because of our dogs allergies and tried two different flavours for a few months but to be honest it didn't make much difference. Dogs seemed to like it though but no more or less than anything else they had been on and we are now buying a cheaper wet food alternative which they seem to enjoy more. When it was delivered I just dropped it in the conservatory where it stayed while we used it, but when I moved the bag I noticed that it had clearly been attacked by mice and repaired. Amazon obviously noticed this but taped it and sent it anyway so I ended up throwing most of the bag away rather than risk using it with the possibility of droppings in the bag! Not very happy about that.

This food is perfect for my sensitive dog. He gets very itchy skin and can get sore patches if he eats other food. He also started losing a lot of weight and getting really sick. My vet put him on a really expensive veterinary food which didn't help at all, and then someone suggested this food so I gave it a try and the difference has been amazing! He has regained all of his weight and his skin is much better. I cannot comment on the flavour but he wolfs it down so it must taste ok! Won't feed him anything else now.

Got this on a Prime deal so fantastic value. Even at full price I would recommend. Our dog loves this food and prefers it to more expensive stuff. I'll be buying more Harringtons products and I love the fact that it's grain free, too.

Harrington's dry dog food, excellent product, sadly the delivery to France has taken its toll. sent soley as shop bought, 15kg of dog food in a thin plastic sack.. no other prtection from the overseas courrier services it passed through. Arrived with a badly place small piece of La Poste tap, clearly not, closing the tear in the sealed bag of food. I cannot find any way to contact seller direct, have taken photos on arrival. 2nd bag as follows: Harrington dry dog food, Turkey.. Arrived in manufacteurs plastic sack, no other protection for travelling to France. Arrived taped up like a trussed chicken, by La Poste. On removing their tape, it reveils 2 gapping holes in the plastic sack, lost any food, I can't weight to check. but looks like the sniffer dogs have had their dinner first. can not find a way to contact seller direct to inform of the transport issues. I have no choice but to use the food as we have run out and my dog is allergic to the foods out here.
