These pinion gears are not made of high quality metal. One of the teeth was actually chipped upon arrival. If used with a brushless motor they are likely to grind flat or chip quickly.

Fit my SCX10 all metal Tase perfect. I used the 17 tooth. I cant say how strong they are since I just installed it. But I would think this is fine for a crawler. My Spur is Metal. So we have metal on metal. Its a little loud but not bad at all.

Good quality and price. Took a week and a half to get witch is becoming average for Amazon. Wish it would have shipped a little faster although still a good purchase!

I don't know if its just me but I had a hard time keeping the included screws tight on my motor shaft even with RC grade locktight. So I used a screw I've been using without issue on my other pinions and it works fine. Other than that, its a great, affordable set to dial in your gearing and I've had no other issues using with the stock slipper setup on my Blitz.

ONE IMPORTANT FACT. These Pinions do not work will with all Spur Gears. I stripped my 21T pinion with in seconds. After talking Trash and Cursing I put the two together and found it did not seat well. Only the a millimeter was touching the spur gear. After finding a Spur gear that fit flush while rotating it worked like a CHAMP. SO BUYER BEWARE OF YOU SPUR & PINION GEAR TEETH FITTING FLUSH AND YOU WILL BE OK..

High quality and work great for brushed and brushless crawlers. I highly recommend.
