This product arrived quickly and the cost was within reason. It was easy to install the support under my sofa cushions, but the panels are not as thick as I envisioned they would be from reading other reviews. The panels are only about 1/4 inch thick when opened and while it provides some support, it is not significant enough to eliminate the slight sag that has formed over time in that part of the sofa.

After reading several reviews, I was a little skeptical about buying them because there are a lot of negative reviews about this product. However, I'm glad I took a chance on these as they work well for my sectional. Like another reviewer stated, these boards are not for super sagging couches, chairs, etc., and make sure to take measurements before ordering. The only drawback is that I wish the boards were a little wider. Other than that, they work great and make my sectional look brand new.

Make sure you measure the width of your couch from the back to the front so that you know of this is wide enough.l! We have a very old couch that was getting a little worn down. Part of the problem was the cushion stuffing wasn’t as fluffy and part of the problem was that the springs in the couch base were losing their “springiness”. I bought this to try to help with the springs - and poly fill for the cushions, which ended up doing way more than this. Our couch is an average, 3 cushion/person sized couch. The length of the support was perfect but it wasn’t wide enough. When you take off the seat cushions, our couch is about 27.5” wide. The support thing we bought is only about 16.5” wide. In the end, the support only ends up sagging with the springs because it’s not wide enough to reach the sturdy back and front of the couch.

I understand why reviews on this item are a little low. Their sofa is worn, and they don't want to or cannot spend the cash on a replacement. No product, let alone a $30 one, is going to bring that spring back after 3+ years. But I just purchased a new sofa, and this is a terrific product for it. A) It is preserving the springs under the cushion for even wear. B) Two cushion full sofas are the trend in the US (perhaps elsewhere) and this Laminet insert really firms up the staging middle of this style couch. I've found that closest to the armrest is the firmest on a two cushion full sofa, and the middle is the softest. This insert really helps distribute my weight more evenly to the middle from the firmer side support. C) I don't know what size sofas people have out there, but this product fits very well in my 90x40x40 couch. That's at or above average size for a stationary or reclining couch. Some reviewers even have pictures of how small this insert is in their sofa, and that they should have checked the dimensions first (yea!) but I don't think that should away your opinion unless you have an oversized sectional. This product isn't going to restore your worn down sofa. It's illogical to think it may based on it's price alone. But I expect the comfort of my new sofa will be preserved far better with this insert than without.

I am so glad that I took a chance and purchased this support for my sofa. After trying a wooden couch support that was so hard, my butt hurt and foam cushion support that exposed a full inch of foam in plain view (returned all to Amazon), I found this support. It’s absolutely perfect! The perfect fit, the perfect amount of support without feeling hard, the perfect price, etc.

I got this to help firm up my couch cushions as they were sagging from use. Unfortunately there was no difference across the whole couch but a slight improvement if you used it only for 1 or 2 cushions by keeping it folded up.

Purchased this product based on the description to correct some sag in my couch. I put it on and there was absolutely no difference whatsoever. It does not work. I gave it one star because I had to in order to make a review, not even worth that. I tried contacting the company but no response. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product or dealing with this company. Save yourself the money and hassle.
