I had very limited success, but I don't blame the seller. =) Big Bluestem grows native where I live in Colorado, but I couldn't get it to grow in my pasture. I have harvested and planted wild Big Bluestem seed with the same "success". I think that it is fickle, and grows where it grows. I put some of the seeds in a raised bed (better soil, better moisture). The seeds germinated and I have some Big Bluestem grass growing in the raised bed.Regarding not blaming the seller - gardening/growing things can be tough because you need the correct soil, correct temperature and conditions, and a little bit of luck!

I know how to plant grass seed. All that germinated was one plant of wheat. Reall?

A little difficult to get growing especially in hotter/dryer climate.

The cost is high for not germination.

The seed appears to have been old seed. Nothing sprouted so far and it’s been planted for a month and well watered. Will update the review if it does end up sprouting.

I planted the seed in multiple locations, and have had none of the seeds germinate in two months. I consider the purchase to have been be a complete waste.
