I'm using ocusoft hypochlor 0.02% hypochlorous acid eyelid and eyelash spray 2 fl oz (59ml) product now. how does this product compare chemically?

Heyedrate is 0.015%.  The prescription version (Aveenova) is 0.01%.  I haven't used the Ocusoft 0.02% brand so I can't compare the 2 products.  I find the Heyedrate product works extremely well for me on both eyes and face for demodex.  Its soothing and non-irritating.  I have bad allergies but have had no problems using the Heyedrate product.

Question 2

I've gone through two rounds of the rx brand and am still suffering from demodex. will this help eliminate it or does it just help with dry eye?

See a dermatologist and ask about Ivermectin....yesss that Ivermectin.  It kills demodex mites and in some folks this has been reported to relieve dry eyes.  The association between demodicosis (infestation with demodex mites) and dry eyes isn't 100% at all.  Most older folks have demodex mites but not all have dry eye issues).  Nonetheless if taken by prescription (it isn't expensive for oral Ivermectin) this is a safe medication.  People using veterinary intended ivermectin are likely taking their life in their own hands.  Don't do it!  Be VERY careful with tea tree oil.  In low concentrations it does kill demodex but can be irritating and damage your eyes if you get it in your eyes.  As always this is not intended as medical advice but just information.  See your personal physician for medical advice.  (Guess what my degree is...lol...and I suffer too from dry eye too).  Best of luck and best wishes.  Oh these products are basically chlorine and water (a bit more complex) but if you have a YMCA or access to a well chlorinated pool swimming in them would likely help more than this product not to mention other benefits.  If using a bottle a month the membership fee may be less!!  It can't hurt.  Also if you live with others everyone would need to be treated or you'll just reinfest one another.  All the best!!

YOUR ANSWER FROM THE 'MFG' WAS W R O N G:  THE OTHER DIFFERENCE WITH THIS PRODUCT AND AVENOVA IS NOT JUST THE SODIUM THEY USE - IT IS THAT THE HYPOCHLOROUS ACID IN THIS PRODUCT IS 0.015% AND AVENURA IS 0.01%  THAT IS A BIG DIFFERENCE IN THE ACTIVE INGREDIENT.  AVENURA IS VERY GENTLE AND THOROUGH.  I'M JUST NOT HAPPY WITH THE COST AND LOOKING FOR A GENERIC SUBSTITUTE THAT IS EXACTLY THE SAME CONCENTRATION.  CH

I use the Occusoft lid scrub every morning. Does this product replace the lid scrub or would it be used in addition?

In addition too! My aunt works for an ophthalmologist and told me you should really use both a lid scrub and a hypochlorous acid for your eyes. Because Hypochlorous acid kills bacteria but does not remove oil or debris. You need a surfactant (cleanser) to clean the eyelid then the hypochlorous acid to kill bacteria. OCuSOFT has a Clean 'n Spray kit that has both in it and that is what I use and I really like it.
