Useful to people with mobility issues
Great tool to assist a person with a weakened leg, due to injury or mobility problems

PREVENTS FALLS in narrow spaces where railings are hard to install
This has literally prevented multiple falls in bathroom (stepping in and out of tub) and garage stairs, where we had the most issues. The design is ingenious, its much more stable than the standard "quad cane" because of the solid square platform, and the plastic is lightweight but easily supports body weight and very durable. Its also easy to clean, and due to the bright pastel colors of the platforms, easy to spot in dim areas (like a garage).

Helpful Stair Climbing
Have problem going up stairs. This easy device to help me climb the stairs works great. It makes the stairs half the height of the original stair so you donโt have to lift your leg as high, which causes a problem. I would highly recommend but would recommend having someone behind you just in case you lose your balance.

Made a big difference for me
This is a very helpful cane. I watched the video to understand how to use it and it works for me, relieving my knees to only have to go up a half step. I wish they fix the screw, which seems to loosen repeatedly. You have to be careful using anything on the stairs, but I find it very helpful. The price is a bit high for what it is, but I still recommend it. If you have other difficulties, like balance or leg strength, this might not be for you. Use it at first with someone monitoring you. I am glad I bought it.

Ok for limited use scenarios
This aid is ok for someone who has decent mobility and balance but has trouble getting their leg to rise high enough for a regular stair height, but if they need to use the cane for support I would have sincere doubts. The step irtself is very sturdy, which I had concerns about when buying since it was plactic. The cane however wobbles in it's base. I also have concern that if someone was using it to steady themselves and put any real weight on it eventually it would fold / bend at the plastic base and fail. Again, if all someone is going to use the cane for is to lift the base from one step to another it should work fine. In our case though the person needs to support and steady themselves with the cane and their other hand on the railing. We've opted not to use it.

Portable Step Is Great
There are two stairs leading to my condo that are too high for me to easily walk up on. This portable step is exactly what I needed. I carry it to my car and use it when I get back home. Itโs a big help and Iโm glad I found it.

A Must-Have for Steps/Stairs
I bought this because I have concrete steps off my side door, and the first step down from the door to the porch is a doozy! I was always afraid of falling, as there is no banister there. But with this cane, I can easily step down safely. And even though it doesn't fold up, it also can fit in a car if I need to use it when going to someone's place that has steps. I have a physical therapist who comes to my home and she was quite impressed with it. Highly recommend!

Gets You Up the Stairs
I have arthritis in my knees and going up my 13 steep stairs was taking it's toll and bothering my hip. This device has made a huge difference. You're not going to zoom up the stairs, but if done slowly and paying attention it gets you up with much less strain on your joints. I'm very glad I bought it. The only thing that I think needs attention is that the screw that holds the cane in does come loose constantly. I solve that by keeping a screwdriver out and every time I go up the stairs I tighten the screw. I do not use this device to go down the stairs as my railing is not on the correct side and I don't feel safe. My railing going down is enough and going down doesn't hurt my joints. I think it's a good investment in staying independent.

E.Z..STEP STAIR CANE
This is a great ๐ idea and is certainly making it much easier going up stairs. However I do feell it was greatly over priced .I'm giving it a 5 star for usefulness but a 1 star for price.

Helpful but expensive.
The unit itself is wobbly, I was afraid to use it at first as it didn't seem to be stable enough to help me climb stairs. It worked fine once I got the hang of it, I should have shopped around more, the price is steep for such a cheaply made piece of safety equipment, I was able to purchase a walker with wheels, seat and brakes for almost half the price!
