Love it, definitely made my aftermarket speakers sound better and so far everything works flawlessly. Screen is bright and clear, my only complaints is there’s a slight glare when it’s bright out and some of the settings are in weird places but once you get everything set up how you prefer it’s super smooth and easy to use. Also the microphone is decent.. not quite as good as factory of a newer vehicle but better than aftermarket ones I’ve purchased before. Highly recommend this receiver!

Idk if it’s worth the money but it’s a spectacular head unit. Of course the screen is a little laggy but that’s because you’re not supposed to be messing with it while you drive anyway. Audio quality and EQ are superb and Apple CarPlay works great if your phone and charger are both not janky in the slightest, if they are I recommend buying a cheap adapter to make your CarPlay wireless and a separate charger.

My only critique is that I wish it had a cd player

I have always used Pioneer head units for the past 20 years and they have never let me down! Great unit for car if you want to upgrade to Apple car play. Works great, sounds great, looks great and has all the hookups on the back that you need.

Make sure you have everything you need before the installation. The TY adapter/harness kit(s), plus whatever bezels or other accessories you may need. The hardest part was the wiring harness. Once you have whichever wires you need to connect, plug your laptop into the device and do a firmware update. In my older Lexus, the steering wheel functions only worked with that update. For those who complain about needing a USB cable for Apple Car Play, I ordered a small dongle that connects my iPhone to the radio without the need for the cable. The quality of the radio is awesome, sounds fantastic and that's with a 20-year-old Lexus standard speaker system. The sound was GREAT!! Bluetooth connected right away and you can listen to your iPod music or radio apps with Bluetooth. For CarPlay you need an iPhone USB cable (unless you get the adapter). Installation was pretty easy in my 2004 Lexus RX and we were up and running in under 3 hours most of that time being spent putting the wiring harness together. Performance on the screen can be a little laggy at times. Overall a great quality radio that's a welcome addition to my old car!

I wanted to switch out my single din stereo on my 07 Dodge Ram 2500, for a touch screen unit that would be easier to read, and less than 500 dollars. Very pleased with the visual quality, and it works great with my backup camera, and Sirius radio module.

I’ve had this screen for 3 years and ABSOLUTELY NO REGRETS! Best Buy I’ve made for my car. Apple play, android play, gps, google gps, Spotify, pandora, other apps… completely worth every penny. Great sound. Sucked to get the xm part in with it. It takes up a lot of space but got it all in. Worth every penny. Great touch screen and colors. Easy to use. Lots of features.

I would give zero stars if I could. It doesn’t work properly sometimes and I’ll have to go out of Bluetooth and back to Bluetooth to be able to play the music. I messaged the seller about this and they told me we sell thousands of these units and don’t have these issues. If you’re having a problem return it to Amazon for a refund. It stopped having functionality issues, so I kept going so I wouldn’t have to have it all completely removed. Secondly, shortly after my 30 day return window this morning I decide I’m going to take the car out to show - it gives me a “pioneer loading…” screen for 5 seconds or so then goes black. It continues toggling through this but never actually turns on. I’ve used pioneer head units for 15 years now… it seems the quality keeps getting worse and worse.
