Good. It works quite well for its money

I have a Meaco dehumidifier in my basement that has a DC connection for a pump but their official one costs £60. I bought this and a DC barrel connector and it works perfectly for a fraction of the price. The dehumidifier has been running constantly for almost two years now and the pump runs every time the tank fills (usually about 2-3 times a day) and it’s still going strong. This pumps the water about 1.8 meters vertically and then a further 2 or so meters horizontally, I have small holes along the horizontal part of the hose to water two planters at the front of my house and the pressure is still good.

Easy installation. Solid build and great value for money. It couldn't suck up the water if I connected a hose to each end, had one hose in the water (inlet) and the other away, having the pump outside the water. It required immersion of the pump itself into water which is quite understandable - just as advertised. So I required only one hose - the outlet hose. The pump worked beautifully once immersed, with a strong jet for its size. I should give it 5 stars but for a bad/no documentation. I can excuse the Chinese manufacturers, but texts in the manual/specifications of a product marketed in the UK should be in intelligible English language. I would expect the UK/European distributors to produce a useful manual for this product.

I really like this little pump, even if it wasn't up to the task I had planned for it. I was planning to use it with a portable gas heater, it's really quiet, has a reasonable lift on it, good flow (without restriction), it's SUPER quiet and draws low current. The problem is I could only get around 3-3.5L/min through the heater (needed around 6L/min). Open ended flow only saw about 5-6L/min, but still quite impressive. You can also get decent distance on the water by restricting the hose pipe! I will definitely keep it around for other projects, and yes, it is fully submersible (tried and tested) and I also used it extensively when not submersed and it seemed to work just fine, didn't overheat etc.

It's being used as a shunt pump on a narrow boat central heating system of around 65c but unfortunately the first one I purchased about 2 1/2 months ago went up in smoke literally, melted and smoked the boat out. The pump is being used on the return back from the radiators and calorifier so return temp is around 35c - 45c max. It does look a good pump but upon cutting the burnt out one up it is actually poor quality and may not take the heat so well, the shaft through the armature is also not ceramic its stainless steel which in the description states ceramic. Its not! The pump could do with an aluminium body with small cooling fins around it to dissipate the heat as it does get quite warm. The impeller is nylon which is okay for its job. See how this one goes, I can't see a problem in cold water situations but it's definately not rated for 95c water it would last days not 2 1/2 months like the last one at around 50c. Also the bearing in the rear of the pump is just a hole in the back cover plastic.

Broke on second use. Cheap tat, should have known better... Avoid.

Didn't fully believe the spec of the pump but thought I would give it a go anyway considering the price. When it arrived it looked so small that I almost wrote it off without testing. But, hooked it up and it's awesome. It can, and does pump the 5m head height it claims. I'm using it for pumping water from a borehole into tanks.. works great! just screwed on some standard snap on hose connectors and it's good to go. Only negative, is I wish the wire was longer. considering it's designed to be submerged a short wire isn't ideal when connecting it up to your power source. IE, don't have underwater joins in your wire
