I bought these for a fall themed photoshoot, and while they were exactly what I was looking for, I didn't expect them to smell (strongly) like rotting fish. I'm not one to exaggerate, the smell of these leaves is awful! I was hopeful that the smell would lessen once they aired out a little. I used them on an outdoor shoot and even though we were out in the fresh air, the smell was still very strong. I had been planning to use them in decorating my house for fall afterwards, but I no longer plan to do that (for obvious reasons).
