Royal Langnickel - The All Media Easel Artist Set

Love, Love, Love. I ordered this for myself, I am a 30+ year old mother of 4 who used to be quite artistic in my younger years, but stopped when I had children. I was so happy when I received this! The wooden case is BEAUTIFUL! It really is a very nice, wooden case. The workmanship on it is great, and it is very sturdy! I would recommend, if you like the look of the wood, stain or seal it right away, before you being working with the easel, because the wood will get stained with pencil, paint, etc. I like the look of the paint, etc, the "used" look, but others may not. Assembly of the easel (basically putting a few nuts and bolts in) was super quick and easy. My 4 year old helped me. I love that the easel is adjustable to your favorite angle, etc. I originally put the easel shelf (the little wood piece on the front of the easel that holds your work at the bottom) on the right way, but then I ended up turning it around, so that I could reach the bottom of the canvas easier. The drawers are great, if not short in height. Everything in the case comes in black plastic which holds it all in. I immediately removed everything from the plastic and threw the plastic out. I sorted my own supplies and added with these supplies and bagged them, and sorted in the drawers. You can fit a lot of stuff in here, I have several sets of acrylics, including the larger liquitex tubes, a few sets of oils, a few sets of water colors, many more paint brushes, and my drawing sets of pencils, etc. I love this case, it is portable, useful, I love the easel, I love the drawers, it is very nice looking, and I would definitely buy again. I am thinking of buying one for each of my kids, to use as they get older. The pain and brushes are good quality, the other supplies are good, and useful for "trying out" lots of different techniques.

I bought it for my daughter as she began having painting lessons. The quality seems to be very good and so far I’m happy with this purchase.

It's a good introduction set to painting with oils, acrylics and water colors. Just what I wanted since I am just starting out. It gives you a good variety of media to experiment with. You soon realized that if you are going to do quality work you need an few more supplies. (I am going with acrylics) I added: One Stroke Painting INT1059 Folk Art Value Brush Pack (Amazon) Stainless Steel Painting Knife - Pallet Knife 5-Piece Set (Amazon) and a couple more things like gesso, Matte Finish Spray and larger tube of white (Amazon) In the end the nicest part of this set will be the wooden box. It is very nicely made with dovetailed joints, drawers for storage and good hardware (flip latches) and sturdy leather handle. I will have a convenient place to store all my supplies and I can take them anywhere should I decide to work outside or on location. I love it. The box is classy and convenient. I’ll admit, I was super hesitant to buy this at first because of some of the reviews, and I didn’t want to waste money. But this looked like the paint set that had everything I wanted to try! So now, I Can’t say enough good things about this set. It’s exactly what I was looking for and extremely affordable for all the quality stuff you get. I’m 22 and just finished the college year and wanted to get more into painting, and this is perfect for beginners. The paints are easy to apply, fresh, and nothing came broken or old! And it got here right on time. Here’s my first painting with it— excited to do more :) don’t hesitate, just buy it!

Paint wasn’t dried out like other have received. I wish I got extra acrylic or water color paint instead of oil paint because I’m not sure how to use oil paints. I have yet to use the spatulas because they don’t seem as accurate or durable. The colored pencils are not as pigmented as I wish they were. Paint brushes aren’t the best quality but they have given me some great pieces of work. I wouldn’t say it worth nearly $80, maybe $60. Overall I have got some great pieces of work out of it.

I was a bit worried ordering this because of previous reviews stating that the products where shaken around during shipping and either broken or had made a huge mess. However I was pleasantly suprised; All items were individually packaged and so they didn't mess any where. The set has everything a young artist would need. My son is only 7 but very mature for his age. This set enables him to try out all the painting techniques. There is a set for oils, water colour and acrylic. The case is sturdy and good. He uses the built-in easel for his painting and loves it. Its a perfect set for an art student.

Great for the price. Some bad reviews are legit, I did get splinters on the sides where you put up the canvas but it's avoidable if your careful. I was able to paint a 18x24 canvas with no problems but of course you have to adjust accordingly during the paint session. I am pretty happy for the price. Great storage kit. Wish it was bigger but it's damn near perfect so your stuff doesn't budge while you lug this around. The items inside are for a beginner in my opinion, like a kid possibly. I let my children (7 and 4) experience some of the things in the kit and planning on giving all contents inside to my 7 year old. I'm still a beginner myself but this stuff is more kid-like in my opinion. Of course you can use and make do with the material but I started on Bob Ross wet on wet painting and that is more my style right now. Probably will replace the inside with all my Ross products. You can purchase the box separately which is what I should have done BUT I'm glad my children and I could experience the items. They love the pastel chalk and this kit is def a great way to experience all mediums to see what your into.

Really happy with this purchase for my 11 year old who was looking for something more ‘advanced’ than a kids painting set but is still a beginner. Gives her a chance to try out lots of different mediums (oil, watercolor, acrylic). Felt it was a bit pricey but it’s well made and comes with everything you need to get started. Love how it is all contained within the drawers and can be easily packed up. Overall a great beginner set that makes her feel like she has ‘real’ art supplies.

Dies war ein Geburtstagsgeschenk für meine Frau. Der Kasten bietet für alle Techniken ausreichend Material (durchaus gute Quali!) um sich auszuprobieren, mit verschiedenen Maltechniken zu experimentieren... Der Kasten mit seinen Schubladen ist gut verarbeitet, kann leicht transportiert werden und ist leicht verstaut. Klare Weiterempfehlung!

J'ai acheté cette mallette pour l'anniversaire d'une enfant de 10 ans. Passée l'angoisse du déballage suite à une livraison effectuée par le tristement célèbre transporteur Colis Privé (Amazon, vos partenaires vous veulent du mal, il serait temps de réagir...), j'ai été soulagé de constater qu'il n'y avait pas eu de casse, seulement un peu de chamboulement dans les tiroirs. Je dois dire que j'ai été très surpris par la qualité de cette boite. Elle est parfaite pour un cadeau d'anniversaire car très belle et très bien faite. De plus, à l'ouverture des tiroirs, c'est la caverne d'Ali Baba ! Que de trésors ! La boite est très bien organisée. Elle propose trois type de peinture : aquarelle, acrylique et huile. Chacun des trois tiroirs est donc dédié à un type de peinture, et comporte ses propres ustensiles (pinceaux, spatules...), en plus d'autres éléments comme les crayons, les pastels, palettes, qui viennent compléter l'ensemble. Je trouve cette organisation très pratique, surtout pour un enfant qui sait immédiatement où trouver chaque tube ou crayon en fonction de ses envies. Il ne s'agit évidemment pas d’ustensiles de qualité pro, à ce prix, mais cet ensemble me semble absolument parfait pour un débutant. De plus, il suffira de remplacer dans la boite, au et à mesure qu'ils s'usent, les tubes de peinture, les crayons, et les différents ustensiles.

Prodotto estremamente serio e professionale. Ottimo legno e buon set sia per principianti che per chi già dipinge da tempo, e vuole magari ricominciare senza troppe pretese. La bellezza di quest set base, non è solo la compattezza, l'utilità e la varietà di colori e materiali da usare per pittura e disegno. Ma anche il fatto che la Royal & Langnickel, cosa non meno importante, vende a prezzi molti bassi rispetto alla media e ai negozi per arti, tutti i pezzi di ricambio e altro ancora su amazon a basso costo. Dunque io consiglio assolutamente questo Set. I pennelli sono professionali ed eccezionali, ce ne sono molte varietà e durezze. La base di appoggio della tela è stabile. Adorabile e come regalo per una persona alle prime armi o chi vuol ricominciare a dipingere o disegnare è perfetto. Direi che per i ragazzi è un set che stimola la fantasia e la creatività. Consigliato alle mamme e ai papà che vogliono fare un ottimo regalo ai loro figli che hanno già questa passione visibile in modo spiccato, ad un prezzo ottimo e un risparmio eccezionale. Sono rimasta pienamente soddisfatta. DOPO TRE ANNI DI UTILIZZO: valigetta ancora compatta e perfettamente utilizzabile, colori che si mantengono benissimo, tanti quadri e materiale durevole...vi dico compratela ai vostri figli, nipoti, ad amici e colleghi se amano dipingere perché è fenomenale!
