TFA Dostmann digital wireless rain gauge Rainman, 47.3004.01, outdoor, for the garden, 365 days rainfall history

This is a very well made rain/temperature gauge. Information on the face is easy to read & follow. I have another raing gauge from a different maker & I prefer this one even though they both read the same. I recommend this as a good starter for someone interested In monitoring rain etc. David G Robinson

This appears to be well constructed and the Outdoor temperature transmitter is separate from the ring gauge so that it can be placed in the shade and it seems as though the record for the rain gauge is stored in the base unit even after the batteries are changed is

I bought this TFA product last Christmas and it has now been running for exactly 1 year. The batteries for all three components lasted the entire 12 months which I was happy about, but changed them today to start the new year. I located the temperature monitor inside my garden shed and so it has given me a good idea of what the temperature will be like outside. For sure the 'see-saw' rain monitoring mechanism cannot be super-accurate (this was made clear in the product description) and leads to an underestimate of the actual rainfall, but it has certainly given me a proportional readout of the rainfall levels compared with a professional weather station a few miles away. Monitoring inside (kitchen) and outside (shed) temperature as well as rainfall has given me a lot of fun this year and I am very happy with the product and recomend it to others.

Ich habe bereits mehrere Wetterstationen ausprobiert, die Dostmann Rainman klappt endlich. Die Messergebnisse für innen und aussen scheinen zu passen, die Funkreichweite ist auch gut. Der Regensensor scheint auch zu funktionieren.

Température extérieure par capteur indépendant très précise. Pour le pluviomètre celui-ci s'est déclenché dès la première pluie. Lecture de la hauteur de pluie très précis et très facile à consulter. Excellent produit.

Muy mala precisión. Lo estuve probando durante un tiempo con un pluviometro de los de toda la vida y las diferencias entre los dos eran notables. Ejemplo: el pluviometro digital marcaba 30 litros y el de toda la vida 53 litros. Una cosa es q por 50€ que vale no tenga mucha prexisión y otra cosa es esto... no merece la pena gastarse el dinero en algo que sirve para medir y precisamente es eso lo que hace mal. Ademas tiene poco cuenco de recogida y no sirve para lugares donde caiga nieve.

Hatte vorne weg das Modell Monsum, da dort laufend Verbindungsabbrüche zwischen Regenmesser und Anzeige waren habe ich mich entschieden dieses Model auszuprobieren. Die Inbetriebnahme lief ohne Probleme, Batterien einlegen, Regenmesser Thermometer und Basis haben sich sofort gefunden. Kurzer test des Regenmesser, Wasser in den Trichter geschüttet, Anzeige reagiert relativ zügig und zeigt die Menge an, gut! Also Regenmesser und Thermosensor fest installiert. Die Datenübertragung Funktioniert bis jetzt sehr zuverlässig ohne irgend welche Abbrüche , Die Montage ist einfach, Bohrlöcher sind vorhanden. Über die Genauigkeit der Messwerte kann ich noch keine Angaben machen.
