I use my frypan on a smooth-top electric range, on the largest element, and it does a fine job. I use the 12 incher more often than my 10 incher because I like to cook large quantities and it is more satisfactory for this purpose. **Q: can you make an omelete and pancakes with it** A: Yes you can.
