**Q: Is the DHA/EPA content (as well as PCB and mercury free content) USP or NSF verified?**
A: Hi, It does not say that the DHA/EPA content is USP or NSF verified. Two messages are printed on the bottle. "quality GMP Assured" and "It is tested to be free of potentially harmful levels of contaminants (i.e. mercury, heavy metals, PCBs, dioxins and other contaminants.) " I have been taking 2 softgel a day for over a year and according to the med tests it helps to control my cholesterol. I believe that it helps support cognitive functions too.

**Q: What is your source of fish oil (type of fish, source of fish)?**
A: The current (Nov. 2019) label reads: "Contains fish (Tuna), Vitamin E from soy"  and adds: "Fish oil is product of India."

**Q: My fish oil capsules look 'cloudy', not as shiny as other brand of fish oil.  Is this normal or have I received rancid oil?**
A: My experience with Now DHA 500 is that the outside of the caps always have a dull sheen but the oil inside is always clear. I have never received a rancid batch.  If you are worried, just slice open one of the caps and take a whiff.

**Q: I have difficulty swallowing large pills what size are the soft gels?**
A: I have always had problems swallowing a Big Pill like these with fluid - and I buy these all the time. The trick is to chew 1/2 inch of banana, or something thick like pudding the pop then pills in your mouth, mix them with your tongue am able to swallow all of my 12 pills AT ONCE (4 time per day) the big pills are oil filled ones like DHA, fish oil, phosphatidyl choline, as well as calcium, Glucosomine /Chondroiten/MSM for joint pain. It's really become a non-issue since I discovered this trick.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Miracle Cures and Heavy Metal Contaminants

Fish oil is literally food for the brain as well as the arteries of your body....plus it radically decreases inflammation, which doctors are now finding out is the root cause of most (if not all) known diseases out there. This is huge, folks. BUT of course there is a 'but', as with all things in this world. BUT if you get the cheapest fish oil you can find that hasn't undergone good testing for contamination, you are literally ingesting toxins when you take your fish oil. Our world, oceans, lakes, are all really polluted. It's pretty bad guys, and it's not getting any better. And guess where toxins are stored when a fish ingests them?....in their fat. So you get your fish oils from good sources that have tested for things like mercury, PCBs and such. I did a test on this one from NOW foods. It was a pretty cheap "toothpick" test that is recommended by Dr Barry Sears, who pretty much revolutionized the way we look at fish oil. Look him up once and read about the amazing cures. Anyway, the toothpick test came out good, so I feel fairly confident that NOW's DHA-500 is, like it says on the bottle, tested for contaminants. It's a good oil from a good source. I give it to my autistic kid (and all the rest of us take it too), and I recommend it for anybody over the more expensive varieties out there. It has produced pretty obvious results for my kids.
