They look really cute and they are extremely lightweight and have a nice feel for summer. They do have a pretty cushiony, thick bottom. It feels solid but is flexible, too. The back of the foot area has a good amount of material and the rest of the shoe is a thinner, breathable mesh. The sole has little dots on it for traction and whatever the material is that it is made of, they have pretty good grip. I can't speak to how these will hold up long-term. I am wearing them mostly for fashion but do find them comfortable to take long walks in. They wouldn't be the shoes I'd choose for long distance running since they are so lightweight, but they are definitely worth the price, I think, for an extra pair of sneakers. I usually wear a standard size 6.5 and that is what I ordered for these. The fit is perfect.
