Review: Very durable, does a great job, I’m fully confident my children are safe at stairs with this gate! - Awesome gate, cannot say enough how fantastic this is. We researched countless baby gates because we live on the second floor and have a giant staircase in our home. This gate is very safe and makes us feel confident that our young children will be safe at the top of the stairs. For us it’s easy to use, but for people who come over they have a hard time opening and closing it properly. I’d rather deal with opening and closing it for others knowing my children are safe at the top of the stairs. We drilled and screwed the gate into our cast iron posts.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for controlling access by 2 year old

Purchased to control access to our office by our grandson. Definitely works even when he hangs on it to complain about not being inside. Only downside is that he now closes the gate when we forget and manages to get his fingers caught [OUCH!]. Not a defect in the gate - able to install it outside the door frame for full width access - unlike most gates that are installed within the door opening. It is more permanent and any holes in the sheetrock will need to be repaired after it comes down. Small price to pay to keep little man safe.
