**Q: Will this work for 56 Corvette?**
A: I bought this for my 1961 Corvette, and it fit nicely.  There is not that much difference from the 56 to the 61 hard tops.  I couldn't say definitively, but I'm about 99% sure this Hardtop Stand will work for your 56 Corvette.

**Q: will this work for 1992 Miata hard top**
A: it should. I used it for my s2000 hard top. i am 99% sure

**Q: will it fit a 93 corvette convertible hardtop?**
A: it should fit, but it's good to triple check the measurement of the thickest part of your roof where it sits at the bottom of the carrier base.

**Q: will this work for a 1986 Mercedes 560sl cover?**
A: It should work. The 560SL top is dimensionally larger than the MX5 top, however there are no restrictions to the height and width accomodated by the rack. Additionally, the cover is very generous in size.Michael
