We have been to a podiatrist and tried custom made insoles, but after a week of running in soccer and track, he is in a lot of pain, and the custom soles were not comfortable. For $10, I thought this was worth a try. It's different in that it doesn't cover his whole foot so he can adjust it to the most comfortable position. I read the reviews and someone said they these were too big for his size seven foot, which is the size my son wears too. But we needed to try something, and this was a different option and very reasonably priced. My son wore them to school all day today and then to track. He said they were so comfortable he forgot he was wearing them. I have chronic plantar fasciitis and the inserts from the doctor don’t help as much as these things do. They do wear out quickly so I just ordered two more pairs. But I can wear them with my house slippers and stand and prep and cook my food with less pain. I’ve also decreased my use of anti inflammatory meds. Hurts to wear it with shoes that have any sort of an arch. MAYBE it'll be an alternative to walking around the house barefoot until the felt frays.
