I think it may have been the shaping making it hard to fully clean inside.I bought this as a replacement as I don't need to carry all that volume around anymore so I decided to get something a little smaller at 1.0L in size and it was a great choice!!Pro:------+ Looks - the bottle looks great, it has a matte feel to it and the company branding looks awesome which was a pull factor for me.+ Feel - the whole bottle is soft to the touch and there are no sharp edges or anything that has a rough texture.+ Taste - As soon as I got the bottle, I read the little manual which says to wash it before use... I quickly washed it through with some warm water and washing up liquid and I had NO chemical taste or any particles left in the bottle from production which is great.+ Durable - admittedly I've dropped this bottle a few times already from sitting height onto carpet flooring and there's not a scratch or imperfection in sight!! (Thankfully)+ Size - the bottle itself is a great size and fits very good in the hand... the bottle itself is also compact in the sense that it doesn't have any unnecessary weight or plastic+ Features - the cap itself locks shut so that it will not open in a bag which is VERY good!! The cap itself can be released by a trigger button which will open the lid and then the lid can be pushed further back if needed.+ The bottle is hard plastic and cannot be squeezed but unlike other bottles with this form factor... this one has a air hole which does a GREAT job of keeping airflow and therefore the contents of the bottle flows out very well+ The bottle lid always screws down with the lock and button inline with their logo which I find a great addition and shows the company has attention to details+ The bottle is fully sealed in everyplace necessary which is great as there is never any unexpected water hidden in the cap that will hit you in the face as you're drinkingCons:------ (these will be petty as they're not really negatives)- The strap on the bottle could do with being abit longer... If I put it round my wrist and go to grab the bottle, I'm almost grabbing the neck of the bottle which is uncomfortable.- Not sure whether I'm not looking far enough but I could only see a Black and Blue option to the bottle... maybe more colour options will open up to more potential customersIn short 😉The bottle is awesome!! Looks the part, company and brand image looks great and are clearly of a high quality and anyone looking to buy one I wouldn't hesitate... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Water Bottle *by L***S on 10 August 2017* I was looking for a sturdy, leakproof and BPA free water bottle, to hold a litre of water, in order to encourage myself to drink my water throughout the day. After reading the great reviews, I decided to buy this bottler myself, and I can honestly say I haven't been disappointed. This is an excellent attractive looking water bottle, which feels smooth to touch on the outside, has markings on one side to measure how much liquid you have inside, and best of all leakproof. I haven't dropped the bottle as of yet, but it seems to be sturdy and hopefully will survive a drop. The lid is on securely and is easy to open. Just undo the catch, and press the button and the lid will pop open. Has a large enough spout to get a good amount of water from when drinking, but not too large that it feels uncomfortable. There is a small hole lined directly above the spout. I'm not quite sure of its purpose, perhaps to do with allowing air into the bottle whilst drinking, so there isn't a build of pressure? Either way, you have to be careful when the bottle is filled to its max capacity, if you tilt the bottle too much when drinking, or you drink from the side rather than straight on, you'll end up with a little water coming out onto you, from this hole. After the liquid inside is not at max capacity, then this is no longer an issue. Overall excellent bottle and I will definitely recommend this to friends and family and be getting another myself! Excellent service from the company Alphapace too!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic water bottle *by D***0 on 28 June 2017* I purchased a pair of these water bottles 2 years ago for my daughter for a 4 week expedition to Peru culminating in a 4 day trek to Machu Picchu. She speaks very highly of them as they are lightweight, tough, they don't leak, slim enough for side pockets on a day sack and give a great flow of water when you need it. I've also used them on hill walks, camping, fishing and in the gym. My son is going to take them on an expedition to Borneo in the summer. I can't fault them.
