## Questions & Answers

**Q: If these glasses are working for you, about how far away do you sit from your computer screen? For 1.5 reading glasses, the screen is too far away.**
A: The glasses were the best I could find and combined with the price point, a winner. With a desk top station 1.5 seems pretty light and it does depend on how far away you sit. Personally, with that low of a mag I would simply magnify the font.

**Q: Does the magnification level equate to that for regular reading glasses? I currently wear 1.5 reading glasses.**
A: Yes, the magnification is exactly what regular readers give except these are much more relaxing to the eyes.

**Q: What are the dimensions, that is, lens height and width, bridge width, and arm or temple length?**
A: Hi, lens height is 34-35 mm, and width is 54-55 mm, bridge width is 15 mm, and arm or temple length is 135 mm.

**Q: what percentage of blue light is blocked with these readers?**
A: this blue light blocking reading glasses is real blue light blocker, almost 95% blue light block.

this blue light blocker computer glasses is best , reduce eye strain, better for sleep, suitable for being on computer, ipad, tv, iphone cellphone for long time

    Best Readers Ever!

Love these glasses and have bought several pairs. They are lightweight and trendy looking, flexible, and don't hurt your face. The lenses are clear and feature blue light protection. Slightly more expensive than other brands but totally worth it!

Worth paying a little more for

The quality of these glasses seems as good as prescription glasses (for distance) I've paid many times more for. My ears are at different heights, so I have to push them down on one side to make them level, but that isn't the fault of the glasses; I always have a technician straighten prescription glasses when I buy them from an optometrist. I like the way they look when I'm wearing them, and I'm extremely particular; I have a very hard time finding frames that suit me.The well-made case, jeweler's screwdriver and cleaning cloth are classy touches and greatly appreciated. These are the first readers I have used, and I ordered mine with +1.25 magnification. I have dry eyes, and for many years they have been constantly itchy, usually red, and sometimes painful, especially during the many hours a day I spend on the computer. For many years I have been using multiple vials of lubricating eyedrops each day for some relief. These glasses have made a dramatic difference to the way my eyes feel... they no longer itch, they aren't red, and they aren't painful. I now use a small fraction of the number of vials of eyedrops I used to use because my eyes feel so much better-- which is saving me money on eyedrops.Honestly, my guess is that I had been straining my eyes by spending so much time on the computer without using readers, and that it's the magnification in these glasses that is making the difference to the comfort of my eyes. Having said that, however, when I turn the glasses at a specific angle to the light I can see a purplish blue coating on both sides of the lenses; that is presumably the coating that is blocking the blue light.I wasn't having trouble sleeping before, and I don't notice any difference in my sleeping habits now. However, I look at the blue light blocking feature in the same way I look at vitamins-- it might help, and I don't see how it can do any harm. It was worth spending a little more than plain readers just in case.

    Worth the higher cost

I first bought a pair of these a couple years ago to use for watching TV with my husband. I had cataract surgery and now my eyes are more light sensitive. He loves watching TV with the lights off and I found I was getting headaches while watching with him. I figured it was blue light, got a pair with 0 magnification, started wearing them for TV, and headaches/eye strain gone. For the cataract surgery, I got graduated vision distance lenses implanted which let me see middle and far distance. Before that, I was pretty myopic - now it’s reversed. Because one eye is middle distance and one is distance, that means I have different prescriptions for each eye for readers. I got a pair of blue-blocking prescription readers for regular use. But, I also wanted a spare pair for next to the bed so that I could read at night, read labels in clothes, that sort of stuff. I have a pair of wire-rimmed readers with nose pads which are okay. But nose pads really bug me. Plus, wire frames always end up getting bent out of shape in tiny ways that eventually make a huge difference to comfort and visual acuity. So, I got a pair of these in 1.5 magnification as my spare pair. They’re light, the frame doesn’t present much contrast, and they block blue light really well. I especially like that the frame is bendy and they don’t have nose pads digging into the bridge of my nose (especially when it’s allergy time and my sinuses are swollen). Like most off-the-shelf readers, the magnification isn’t perfect and that’s made worse by my uneven eyes. But, they’re 1/10th the cost of prescription glasses and only intended for occasional use, so they’re good.
