well, i tried the black stoppers and then i tried the white stoppers and now i've tried the silicone stoppers. and of course the silicone are the most expensive and the best. they have no odor or taste. they have a slight give that makes them easier to form a seal. now what am i going to do with my plain rubber ones.

These silicone stoppers are far better than cheap rubber ones, but they are not so cheap. Still, worth it if the application is at all important.
