Went on a trip and wore them 80% of the time, for the first time, with no issues, no blisters, no sore feet. They are such a great value for the money! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Somewhat loose and bulged out in back despite ordering "slim calf" size *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on September 4, 2020* I ordered a size 8 slim calf size. I was glad that calf size was an option. I am not an extremely slender woman, but I am athletic and have fairly trim, strong calves. When the boots arrived I was surprised at their shape. They didn't look like typical riding boots, but tapered upward so as to be quite roomy in the back. If you have extra large calves, this would be a plus, but not for me. I don't know if these boots were not the slim calf version that I ordered or if I got the standard calf size by mistake. They are built more like winter boots-not riding boots. I suppose most people who buy these wear them for fashion-not riding. However, for me, I wanted them to look like riding boots.The price is low, so I wasn't expecting rugged material that will last a long time. I just wanted something inexpensive to tide me over until I was ready to purchase a more expensive riding boot. So, on that score, they are fine. The appearance is nice. My spurs fit well on the boots, so I am happy with that. The most annoying thing, is that despite the extra roomy calf and the zipper that runs all the way down the back, I have to struggle to get them on my feet. It seems that the zipper quits just a bit too soon. Its like I am expected to have huge calves with tiny feet. However, I ordered a size 8, so my foot size was known. Fortunately, I am able to get them off and on with a bit of determined tugging. They have been serviceable for horseback riding and are reasonably comfortable. ### ⭐⭐ Zipper down go down far enough *by L***Y on Reviewed in the United States on March 28, 2020* These boots are nearly impossible to get on and off. I have the black and the brown pair. The zipper doesn’t come down far enough to allow a person to get their foot in the shirt. It’s ridiculous and the few times I have been desperate enough to wear them, it was painful to get them on and off. They’re fine once they’re on and cute enough but geesh, ya gotta break your ankle and some bones in your feet to get them on.
