I will say that it is definitely for an adult palate. My kids (3 and 5) hate it, which is actually great for me. Finally, something I don't have to share! When I don't have anything to spread it on, I eat it out of the jar. When I don't want to ruin the taste of it with a piece of baked good, I eat it out of the jar. You won't be disappointed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not for those that like an overly sweet marmalade *by J***T on January 30, 2025* This is the best marmalade I have ever had. I prefer it to be fruit forward and the dark, rich color attests to a longer cooking process that concentrates the fruit and produces this type of flavor that is sweet but still tart. The rind is larger cut as well, which I also prefer. If you like or are expecting Smuckers, then stick to that or try the Crystal Cut Tiptree. I have to laugh at the reviews, usually very lengthy and in depth, that refer to this a "burnt". People with odd flavor profiles who are too ignorant to understand they obviously prefer a sweeter, and I mean much sweeter, typical French marmalade that is a light shade of orange with finely cut peel that is not cooked to concentrate the flavors and rely on sugar or corn syrup rather then the fruit for the sweetness. This is an excellent English tawny marmalade, at an excellent price. The definition of tawny is "a brownish-orange to light brown color" and that exactly what this is.
