A: You can get the hang of it after some practice.  You can watch our video to understand the setup process. The instructions are sewn into the carry bag. Please try to follow the instructions. This tent can be set up in 5-10 minutes with a hiking pole.

**Q: Is the LANSHAN tent easy to pack and carry?**
A: It packs down small and blends into the outdoors. Compact and easy to pack, LANSHAN ultralight tent can fit nicely in your backpack or bug-out bag.  It's easy to stow the tent in the provided bag.

**Q: Is the LANSHAN tent's floor durable and waterproof?**
A: Our tent floor is made of 20D nylon and is seam-taped with a waterproof rating of 6000mm. The floor is quite durable and kept them dry in wet conditions.

**Q: Does the LANSHAN tent provide enough ventilation?**
A: Our tent has ventilation window and a full mesh inner tent that provides good breathability.  It has decent airflow. Multiple customers have used it in warm conditions and found the mesh inner tent and ventilation window allowed for good airflow.

I have used this tent a few times and I truly love it. It's my first trekking pole tent and while the trekking poles don't come with the tent, I'm sure any trekking poles would work with it. It's a little bit difficult to figure out how to set it up at first, especially if you've never set up a tent like this, but once it is set up it works great. It's spacious on the inside. There are places to hang lanterns which is very important to me. And it has doors on either side of the tent that roll up. So if you don't want the doors down you don't have to have them down. I haven't used this tent in any rain, but the material seems like there shouldn't be a problem. The seams are taped and sealed from what I can see. I think this is a good value for a backpacking tent, especially if you're just getting started. No need to spend $800 on a tiny tent.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent, cheap ultralight tent

I assume anyone buying this tent doesn't already have an ultralight tent.It's cheap and it works. Things to know are that the set up instructions aren't super clear. I thought it did but include enough stakes, but I think it's meant to use the same stake for each corner of the tent AND the rain fly, not a separate stake for each.It would be a very tight fit for two people and is better for one person and their gear.The rain fly is elevated off the ground and away from the tent, so it does not provide any heat retention at all, which even well ventilated three season tents do a little.Used it two nights in good weather. Seems like it would shed water, but didn't get to test that out. Seems like it would hold up to fair wind as long as there is good ground to place the stakes, but didn't test that out.Really hard to roll up and put away. The fabric is extremely slick, much slicker than a regular tent. I had to remove the fly from the tent (it comes connected) to be able to roll each separately and put in the sack. I'm a little worried it will take a while to figure out how to connect the two when I use it next.I'd worry about using it in rough ground without a footprint as the material is very lightweight.But, I'm overall happy with the purchase.

Yes, there are lighter tents with better features. This isn't is 95% of any of those tents and costs 50+% less.I'm impressed with the design and construction of this tent. The design is very efficient. Room is maximized in the tent and vestibules. The materials are very high quality. The construction is to notch. There's reinforcing in the right places. It's a well thought out and constructed tent all the way around.I have not tried the tent in high winds. Pitched into the wind, I imagine it should hold up well enough.
