I found this product while looking for a good setting powder that was organic and natural. When I saw it advertised, I had to have a look cuz I loved the idea of being able to wear a powder on my face at night. I have combination skin and I need to moisturize after cleansing or my face feels too tight. (And if you're wondering what cleanser I use, it's Vanicream which is supposed to not leave your face dry.) I despise the tacky feel of moisturization though I am well used to it. I use an oil free moisture lotion (La Roche-Posay) at night and an oil free facial sunscreen (EltaMD Clear SPF46 during the day. In addition, I use JJ Labs Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid Serum 1-2X/day after cleansing. I may also add Snail Serum though it's debatable to me whether it is helping or not (I read that the companies that sell it on Amazon went from selling pure snail secretions to a watered down version of the same). The order I use 2X/day is 1)vit c 2) snail (or not) 3) either lotion or sunscreen 4) this powder put on with a soft makeup brush. I read that it should be used alone at night, but I've read several reviews that it won't stick. I never even tried it that way anyway. I used my usual routine just adding the powder at the end.My impressions so far:1) It makes my face feel very smooth and soft-this is noticeable in the am and after wearing it for a while in day time2) It has slowly reduced my plugged pores (I can't speak to acne, after all I am old)3) I don't look oily in my t-zone though if I blot with a blotting paper, I'll see oil at end of day, but not in the am4) It tones down my face significantly (I blush/get red very easily),and I like the whiteness of it as I am fair skinned. It is possible to buff the white away though.5) I LOVE the lack of greasy shine at night. I wear it during the day too. I often use it in place of makeup powders or liquids when I'm just at home.I'm hoping for a further reduction in plugged pores and any other improvements would be welcome too. I've been putting on a normal moisturizer and then using a powder brush to put this on, but it seems like I get more on the bathroom counter than on my face. I have to go over the same spot two-three times before I can feel like it is sticking. Once there, it is better than any of the heavy creams that are usually recommended.
