But then I sat down and read it myself and was really impressed. It is wonderful history and excellent explanation of car innovations. I like reading car reviews, but on a lot of the jargon I don’t really know what they are talking about. Most of those innovations came from supercars, and this book gives that history with little asides about how blowers, turbos, AWD, dual clutches, and other things work. I thought it was outstanding. Well written, great photos, great diagrams, and a highly readable history on the subject.
