I need it to repair a gromet on fil tube gas tank** A: In my case it did not work with alcohol based fuel. **Q: Can I use this to stick a metal gasket to an intake manifold?** A: Metal gaskets are a one use crush type seal. I would not recommend using permatex #1 Hard setting. You will have an impossible job Removing the intake without damaging it if In the future you need to remove it.
