The battery life seems accurate and adequate for my needs and the tiller itself seems plenty powerful and doesn't bog down (and my soil isn't the best). My one complaint, it seems like they could have come up with a better/simpler way to remove or otherwise get the wheels out of the way. To the people who complain this is tool only / battery separate: you should not buy this particular tiller because it's good and you need one. You should do your research and find a battery powered yard tool brand / ecosystem that suits your needs and then commit to that ecosystem. I did that with the Snapper 82V system a couple years ago and now have 4 tools (mower, blower, trimmer, and now the tiller), and the same two original batteries. Not to break ground in hard clay soil but great for raised bed gardening It is light but does pack a punch. It pulverizes with its numerous sharp tines.
