It came inside a sturdy burlap bag with a leather tie and a leather logo patch. The bag itself is worth saving to reuse. Then I was more impressed by the cover. It is made of medium thick, but soft and supple leather. The stitching is uniform and neatly done. The color is great and I love the feel and smell of the leather. It fits my composition book nicely and I look forward to trying it on other similarly sized notebooks. Did I tell how much I like the feel and smell of it? It even came with an embossed leather fob.
