In North America, connect the plug into any outlet. Outside North America, use a plug adapter attachment of the proper configuration for the appropriate power outlet. Thank you!

**Q: Temperature setting. How do you know what temperature you have it on? The dial has nothing to indicate it.**
A: You will know when you turn it down to a lower temperature. There is a little light that will start blinking when get to the cooler temps.
I have thick hair so I always keep mine on high.
Its great for getting to shorter areas of your hair if your hair is short like mine. Give it a whirl, I think you will like it.
Oh, one more thing, you might want to buy a silicone mat to lay the straightener on when its hot. I bought one, they are made for these products and it helps to keep your cabinet surface from getting burn spots.
