We put muslin cotton burp clothes on our registry and also received those, but these work better for having on our shoulder if baby spits up. It’s thicker and catches liquid well, and so far it hasn’t bled through onto our clothes. It’s also a great length for throwing over our shoulder- not too short that it will fall over. It’s soft on baby’s skin and after several washes, still in good shape. The smaller muslin burp clothes are only better for wiping baby’s face as they’re a bit more delicate. We ended up really enjoying the black and white set because it doubles as fun contrast for our baby to look at.
