Review: Bought 2 - last minute gifts - they both work great! Perfect for teenagers! UPDATES... - I ordered last minute (4 days before Christmas) and they hurried to get it to my door on the 23rd! Teenagers - tsk) and the cord yanked out of the wall - the unit a wrecking ball across the room. It hit a table - the corner of the closet - and rolled into the foot-board of his bed at mach 10. We came home less than an hour ago and my son started it up. Turned it up to the second and/or third switch - the whole unit shuts off. No heat - no lights. Fiddled with it for a bit but it's late and it's Christmas. We will work on it to see if we can get it running again, fingers crossed we will be able to. I think it's weird - I don't remember hearing it before, but it does seem to be the way the units are made. Update 12-31-20 Well - the March bangaroo unit was finally retired a few weeks ago. I was in my youngest son's room cleaning up and went to dust the heater and noticed he'd put duct tape over the back vent (I'm rolling my eyes right now). I asked him why is this duct taped? He said he'd accidentally kicked it (not on at the time) in a heated video game match and it fell over so he thought he'd use it for a foot rest for a little bit and poked his toe through the plastic fan vent holes. LOL! So he "fixed it" with gorilla tape :p (this event happened about 6 months prior to me finding it). Once again a safety issue - I took it and replaced it with a newer metal version. This one still works without issue but thought it best to just upgrade to a new one. Still 5 stars! It's demise was through no fault of it's own...
Review: Yule log small heater - Let me tell you about this heater it blew me away I thought it was much smaller than it truly is it's a nice size it's not too big it's not too small it's just right and it looks like a yule firer place I mean it blew me away and the price was $21.99 on desertcart I got it on sale I think it's 29 now I must tell you you didn't even hear it but just to look at it it felt like the holidays it felt like the house was warm and I got to tell you I had it in my kitchen and my kitchen is connected to my dining room it warm the whole thing off I was shocked I had it on a little table and it was so pretty and it was so nice and it kept the whole room two rooms warm this little heater it was so amazing the price was amazing and even though it's on sale for 29 I'm going to buy another one because I got to tell you the one that I paid for 50.00 is a good one too for my bedroom had I bought that one first and tried it out I would have bought another little one like that because it's so amazing this heater it's a must have pulls two rooms off two rooms it's amazing I don't know what else to say is that I'm buying two more one for my living room and when I'm going to put away cuz you never know it's perfect it would be a perfect Christmas present for someone who wants a heater just to look at it it's so pretty and then it lights up it looks like a little yule firer place it's so cute thank you its a must buy great as a present especially if u live in a house where landlord is not good with the heat at all i cant say enough about this great little heater im in love with it truely am thank you sher

**Q: I just want something pretty to look at.  I love a FP,  do not own the home I live in. I love the enjoyment of a FP.  Might this work?**
A: I think you can find a screen saver for your laptop if you want a fire to look at. If you want actual heat, then go with a bigger unit that looks like furniture

A: 700 low 1200 high

**Q: is the heater noisy**
A: It was really noisy for about the first twenty minutes that we turned it on but it became much quieter after a short period of use and you can hardly hear it now.

**Q: Does it stay cool to the touch?**
A: Yes, all of the heater is cool to the touch if it is running as it is now. I touched it everywhere and felt no heat.

i just recieved mine today the black one, i got curious , so i read the instructions, then pluged it my moms room, started on low , my oh my i was blown away at how fast it heated the room, and the fireplace look is simply a beauty, i only wish it had a automatic timer to shut off once the tempture reaches tempture. like my current heater , it shuts off when the room gets warm enough. what i figure when i run it i'll just will shut it by the hour with only the fire part on, then turn it on again once it's been an hour, it does get hot fast even on the low setting, all in all what a lovely masterpiece, i do have a real fireplace in my condo, but i sealed it off when my mom bough the place 27 years ago, the fire look just blows my mind , i love mine, haha, ya know i had a dream of owning one of these beautys, i'm so happy i found this one, i ran it for a while to get rid of that oily smell , now that smell is gone, got 5 canaries and i don't want to hurt there lungs, thank you amazon for this beauty, hope it lasts a long while, the heat it sends out is amazing for how small it is, what a gift ,i bought it as a gift , and i'm happy i did, its so pretty looks just like a mini fireplace, so amazing, i recommend to anyone, would make a lovely gift. so so lovely , thank you seller for this beautiful masterpiece. so amazing.
