At a very reasonable price, it is exactly what I needed. I built a small support to attach it to the legs of my Black & Decker Workmate on which my DIY router table is mounted. The lab jack enables me to adjust the router bit in fine increments and then I lock the router in place. Works like a charm. To make everything run smooth, I put a few drops of oil on the thread and also the scissor connections and sliding channels. I also do macro photography and this little guy will come in handy to adjust small objects in front of the lens. Great purchase!

A: Don't know the answer but I use it to lift one end of a 90" upholstered couch.

**Q: what do you use this for ?**
A: This Mini Lab Scissor Jack is usually used as a support base for height adjustment, for router, laser cutter, laser level, physical, chemical, biological experiments and other daily use.

**Q: Has anyone used this for a drill press table lift?**
A: I don't think you could use this to lift your drill press table! I have three different floor-standing drill presses in my shop, and this jack is too small and light duty to raise any of the tables. IF, and only IF, you have a light-duty, mostly aluminum and plastic benchtop drill press, it might work to precisely raise/lower the table.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A little rough out of the box, but a little tweaking made it smooth and handy

I needed this to hold up a HVAC housing under a dash. It worked pretty well. Raising it was hard out of the box. I lubricated the threads and all pivot points, made some adjustments to the friction nuts and got it working much better. Id buy one again because, this type of lift jack is hard to find, so it was worth the price, even after having to mess with it. I'll be adding a non-slip pad on the top surface.
