The issue is that I have extremely curly and thick hair, but I don't want hard clumpy product in my hair. So I came upon pomade a few years ago. I started by using the ones that you can find in the store everywhere, Cremo, American Crew, Paul Mitchell, etc. Every single one of those ends with my hair being all over the place within 2-3 hours. With this pomade I have found that I can get a good mold and hold for the entire day, and because it is so soluble with water, I can re-wet my hair later and reform it if it gets out of line. It also gives a wonderful sheen to the hair, and smells nice as well.
