Sorry in advance for the long review, but I find reviews like this extremely helpful. I'm 5'8 about 175 lbs, I have a long torso, thicker thighs and I've lost any fullness to my boobs that I once had. I would usually order a 14, but ordered the size 16 to be safe and in hopes for more torso length. It has always been a struggle my whole life to find any type of one piece anything to fit period, but all has changed with this suit! It doesn't ride up in the back, I don't feel like it's going up my lady parts in the front and it doesn't feel like it's cutting off my circulation around the hip area. I'm not much of a fan of things around my neck as they tend to pull and create a headache, but I don't feel the need to tighten this so tight to keep it up so that doesn't create as much tension so that's helpful as well. I have had 2 kids so I have the "mom pooch" and this covers it so so nicely. My husband and I are headed to Jamaica and will be taking a Catamaran cruise to snorkel, will be hiking at a waterfall and enjoying the pool so I wanted something that gave me full coverage while still remaining cute that I would feel comfortable enough to sit down and move around in. My only complaint would be that the chest area is a bit big, but that's no fault of the swimsuit, that's simply because my chest area has been deflated due to kiddos so that's why I'm still giving it 5 stars.
